I wouldn't care who it was, I'd be pissed. This team has no top edge rusher-none. It does have options at OT. Chaz Green & Emmett Cleary should have the chance to compete for the RT position. We didn't draft Green in the 3rd round for nothing. There will be top notch talent at DE, CB, SS, TE, & WR at 28, where we truly have needs. If this team doesn't draft/sign at least two quality edge rushers who can contribute this season, we will be on the outside looking in by the end of it. It was our Achilles heal vs Green Bay, & it will kill us again until we get it fixed.

Hey, let's go back to the "get by" approach along the OL that worked so well years ago so we can draft more cornerbacks.

Our fans never cease to amaze me.

How many DL did we have at the Pro Bowl this year? I thought so. Just a stupid thing to say, really. I don't care if we had all five O-linemen there, we won't win jack until we can put the other QB on his *** on a regular basis. We had a really good O-line in the 90s, but we had zero chance to win the SB until we signed Charles Haley. That was Jimmy's line, not mine. Defense wins SBs, & that's all I care about. We have OTs who can play RT, like Green & Cleary. We have zero top notch edge rushers--ZERO.

It would a huge error in allocation of resources. The pass rush isn't good enough. Are people seriously dumb enough to still not see that? Trade up do whatever it takes to get your pass rusher. That's if you want to make a run. A RT IS NOT A PREMIER POSITION THAT SHOULD BE PICKED IN THE FIRST ROUND. Just a laughably dumb idea that completely ignores why we are always one and done in the playoffs.
