Yup. The typical recovery time for NFL players post-ACL surgery is now 9 months.

Steele's Dec 12 injury + 9 months = August 12th full medical clearance to play.

If we cut Tyron I’m trying to draft an OT in rounds 1/2 if the board works out.

IF Tyron is motivated to continue playing I would be interested in talking to him about reworking his deal. Sign him to a new 2 year deal for around $16-20M with around 12 guaranteed. Jerry gives Tyron a few extra mil to retire with and it helps the team. Consider the source, but I saw Broaddus say there’s a good chance that Tyron would walk away if he’s not on the Cowboys anymore so may be in everyone’s best interest

Alarxon is the worst ol that I have ever seen, he’s out.

I think if the team Is being prudent they will cut or trade Tyron. They will plan on Steele being back in the lineup by mid-season. So that leaves the first half of the games in question.

I think the Cowboys have figured out HOW valuable depth is on the OL but you can’t tie up half the cap on the OL and their backups.

Unless they have a lot of confidence in the guys already on the roster, I think you will see the Cowboys be aggressive about drafting an OT. The question is how deep is the draft?

I don’t want to see the Cowboys force a pick at OT or any other position. So….I think the Cowboys will do that just to piss me off. Lol.

Think they do exactly what they were planning before Steele got hurt. Tyron back at LT, with Tyler sliding inside to guard. They’ll let Waletzko and Ball battle to see who starts the couple of games Steele is out during camp!

Combination of Peters/Ball. I would have ended the season that way.

But the question is whether Peters wants a temporary starter role until Steele comes back only to be assured of being relegated to the bench once Steele is back.
. Career earnings of almost 120mil. I don't know why he came back, and to Dallas, of all places.

OL put more torque on their knee even if the knee holds up he could very tweak something else.
