Bled + Raiders o-line = toe tag.

The replays in slo mo would look like those crash test dummy videos.

Now, Drew Bledsoe is Paul Kersey, in

I truly wish Drew Bledsoe only the best, but Bledsoe + the Raiders = ugly violence ....

Absolutely the worst franchise in the NFL right now. Sad that a once proud franchise is this bad.

Nah, at least the Raiders were good on one side of the ball last season. The Texans ,otoh, were hopelessly inept in every phase of the game.

Drew does not have Wildey to catch the bad guys like Charles did..:laugh2:

His lack of mobility is the underlying problem. Because of that he could not buy more time and take less hits. He is shell shocked because of that.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

I agree with you though, his inability to escape the rush what so ever has made him take a huge amount of hits. Also, his habit of looking for the deep ball leaves him in the pocket much longer.

Now, as you said, he just doesn't make quick decisions, gets hit, and makes even worse decisions.

Beck is ours. No giving him away. Why do you think I was pushing Edwards and Stanton?

:D

Oh, believe me, I knew exactly where you were going with that the minute I saw you made no mention of Beck. Lets see, Oakland needs a franchise QB with there second pick, Hos is a BYU Alum and he's touting Stanton and Edwards..... Humm..........

Unfotunatly for us, I don't think Beck is going to be around long enough for us to get him. I honestly like him more then I like Russell. Now, that's not going to be a popular opinion but to me, Russell is one good year with a lot of physical potential. He's also a guy who played with some of the best talent in college football and had some up and down games against the likes of Florida and Tennessee. Not down grading him for that. NFL teams will draft him on how he projects and there is a lot of natural ability there to be excited over but to me, Beck has been more solid and he is much more polished IMO. People see Russell and they think Young. That, to me, is a mistake. If your watching Russell, I think you should really be thinking McNabb more so. I think that's the way his game will translate into the NFL. Hopefully not Akili Smith. Either way, I like Beck better then I like Russell right this minute. Of course, I like Quinn best but I do like Beck.

Now it would be funny if they sign him up and then draft Jemarcus (SP?) and he gets the bench by mid season.

:splat:

I doubt the rumor...But with Quinn and Russell there the Raiders would have to be out of their minds.

And I would take Quinn before Russell.

Bledsoe has been successful in the NFL. Sure, everyone here hates him, but it is clear that he has shown over and over again that he's a tough SOB who can be a very good QB in the right situation. There is a reason why he's been in the league so long.

:hammer:

the commitment to "EXCREMENT" just continues if this is true. Bledsoe is crazy if he goes there. What a train wreck...............

Some people just don't know when to hang it up. He will pay for his mistake via injury next season for sure.

Everyone did assume he was going to the Raiders. I can't think of anyone else who would give him a starting job.

Houston I heard is still fighting for him but who knows???

the human potted plant will get killed in Oakland and I don't know why he would do that to what is left of his reputation or health.

None of you would pass up millions either.

If I already had millions, I would pass up a few more millions just to be able to stay alive to spend them!

I would not go to a job with the potential to get killed just because I could add a few more millions to the millions I already have...

I don't know how you Barrister's & Solicitor's would do though...

Bledsoe has made big bucks before- its all about getting a chance to start. Al Davis (Walking Dead Man) loves QBs with big arms. That is why he is supposedly after Russell. Bledsoe has made it clear he will not back up; so why would he go to Oakland unless its agreed he starts. Now if they pick Russell they might say we will keep him on the bench this year and next year he goes for it- but he has to beat out you. Bledsoe is enough of a competitor that he would take that deal.

Oh please, it isn't like Bledsoe is jumping off a building and risking death, the worst that happens is a concussion or torn knee.
