Some people never learn. Last year many dissed the Skins and the Giants. One won the SB and the other made the playoffs again in a very tough division with the number one seed in the NFC, the SB winner who beat us when it counted the most, another team that finished 9-7 in that tough division and the worst team finished 8-8. No other division in football had that good of a record except for the AFC South which was slightly better actually.

Every year it's bash the Skins and the Giants when the Eaglets have basically owned us for the last ten years. We had tough games against all those teams and got our fannies handed to us by the Eagles.

So why all of a sudden are those teams sucking it up. This year will be a war. I expect we will win it but for those who think all we have to do is show up better get a better grip on reality. I sure as hell hope the players aren't thinking this.

I wish the SB talk would end right now. It's been fun talking about it but they need to start thinking about playing well and getting ready for a very tough opener.

And Boldin will definitely make the Eagles a lot better. They have the QB, the RBs, a good line and that WR will make them a lot more dangerous. If their defense plays well they will be in the hunt. They just need health.

A super bowl rosters based on what? these guys have not even been good enough to win a playoff game. it's been over a freaking decade since our last playoff win.you people are flatout unreal.

Yet we've been to the playoffs the last two seasons, which indicates talent. We won 13 games out of 16 last year, which is indicative of talent. We had a top 10 defense and a top 5 offense, which is indicative of talent. We had 13 pro bowlers, which indicates talent.

Plus, we added a LOT of talent this offseason that wasn't even here to help with the above numbers. Lost Jaques Reeves and gained Pacman. Lost Nate Jones and Gained 1st round pick Mike Jenkins. Lost Julius Jones and gained 1st round pick Felix Jones. Lost Anthony Fasano and gained Martellus Bennett, etc.

We got better.

This team has won a ton of games the last couple/three years and is young and on the rise. It's clear we are going to be going to the playoffs a lot in the near future and it is only a matter of time before we DO get a playoff win.

I know it's coming. You know it's coming. Heck, everyone knows. Even all you Commander fans know it's coming, so you guys better get some new material ready because once this team gets over that hump, it is going to be miserable for Commander fans.

What are you going to say once we start winning playoff games and NFC titles and super bowls? You better think hard because right now all you guys have to lean on is "no playoff win in 10 years!"

We have a more talented roster. We have a better owner. We have a better stadium. We have better scouts. We have better uniforms. And we have better fans.

If it makes you guys less desperate and helpless feeling to say we haven't won a playoff game, then I'm all for it... but you better get ready because that **** is going away THIS year.

Dallas needs to take the approach the Pats took last season, focus on one game at a time and just beat the opponent in front of you each week. They also should follow thru with what this seasons theme seems to be "Finish". Finish every play, quarter, half, game.

While I agree Boldin will be a huge upgrade to Philly's offense...Lito's departure will give their D a pretty big hit.

You saw how Wade had to reign in his playbook a bit when Newman/Henry were banged up(our backups were nothing but decent zone cover corners). Pt being that it's well know that Samuel isn't your typical lock down corner. Assuming Lito goes, it wouldn't surprise me if Jim Johnson reigns in his playbook of exotic blitzes a bit.

So ultimately, Boldin's gain could be offset by Lito's loss.

Let Philly have him-they're going to have to give up Lito(at least for him), and Lito's departure will put a pretty big hit on the Philly D.
