RUMOR: Boldin to Philly?

If he's really on the block, be assured that Jerry has looked into the matter. But its always going to be about what Arizona wants.

I wouldn't worry about it in terms of if it would give Philly much of a better chance against us but I'd certainly rather see him with a star on his helmet. :)

I don't think we need the NFC East to get any stronger. If we don't get him, I just don't want him coming to our division.

Good post jobberone.

Dallas needs to take the approach the Pats took last season, focus on one game at a time and just beat the opponent in front of you each week. They also should follow thru with what this seasons theme seems to be "Finish". Finish every play, quarter, half, game.

Thanks. Even a blind hog finds an acorn occasionally. And I like this finish theme. Hope they add a start to it then finish it.

no way would the Cardinals trade Boldin for Sheppard straight up.......this is just a rumour started by a hopeful Eagles fan

Exactly that would be just stupid, especially considering he is signed through 2010. Why would they take so little for a stud WR? Sheppard and one of the Eagles 1st rounders maybe but no way they make this trade straight up.

yeah just straight up is too little, if they were willing to dump Boldin so easily im sure Jerry would have created his own deal that could match that.

Wow-what IS this obsession with Boldin?

If anything-one of the reasons why we struggled down the stretch was b/c of our OL play.(especially in that playoff game)

Pt being that we can have TO, Boldin, CJ, and Fitzgerald, but if our OL plays like it did down the stretch last year, it won't matter at all.

wouldn't hurt my feelings at all for Philly to overpay for Boldin

Has anyone else seen this anywhere? This is the only place that has it that I've seen and it's a fantasy football site, which makes me wonder if it's real or not.

It's not on ESPN's site either. I would like to see another source if there is one.

basically its b/s...the guys on espn radio were just saying it made sense, not that they'd heard anything about it

all sorts of trades that make sense are probably kicked around, but almost never happen

I am continually amazed by the lack of faith people have in our own very strong team...

honestly who cares if they get Boldin? or Roy Williams or Chad Johnson or whomever else? we're better than them regardless...there's not one area of their football team you can honestly look at and say they are stronger than us...not one

I think we are better. But I have no desire to see our opponents grow stronger either. They're strong enough. But I won't get upset about it either. Respecting your opponent is a necessary thing. Fearing them is not warranted however.
