Results... 41-38 UT... VY runs it in for the winning score with 19 seconds left.

You're right, Bush is definitely a NFL bust, nice argument

Talent level. That is what I am talking about. The Trojans had more talent easily and still lost.

As far as Bush is concerned he was the only one that showed up to play...kinda.

BTW - Who is arguing ? Just making an observation.

Hmmm...

Maybe USA Today or ESPN or SI or Idont know lets say the Sporting news.

And I have seen every game Reggie Bush played in this past season.

I am not saying that the guy isnt a playmaker on the college level. I am questioning how that will carry over into the NFL.

You watched every game Bush played this season?? Yeah OK...

I just realized something. Terps fan... ACC, play NC State every year. Says Williams is the sure thing over Bush. East Coast bias much.

Look I didn't watch Williams play at all this year. At least I can admit it.

And what the hell does it matter that Dallas MN did the poll? You think the NFL GMs would tell them lies while telling ESPN the truth??

So Bush shows up to play, he's "the only one... kinda" (guess you didn't catch LenDale White that game), the USC defense gets shredded by Vince Young and loses the game. How exactly does that mean Reggie's a bust waiting to happen?

Yep every game. As opposed to the highlight that you probably watched most of the time.

You are brilliant, because I am a Terps fan I sweat other ACC teams ? Brilliant I tell ya.

You said teams polled. I must have missed the GM part.

OMGoodness.

He supposedly is the BEST prospect with arguably the BEST talent surrounding him and easily the best OL.

He should have had his career best game. This is the stage SHINE.

And "kinda", was meant more sarcastically, that others played yet he was the one the game was on. Mr. Heisman trophy winner.

With this one I am snoozing. Take care.

I think this is a disturbing trend we're seeing more often. These guys stand to make millions upon millions playing a game. If you don't like where you could be drafted, tough. Play out your first contract (though they'd probably try to sign for as short a term as they can get) and then be a free agent. This trying to dictate who drafts you is crap. If you don't love the game enough to play for anyone, you don't deserve to play it.

sorry - football is a business. when graduates come out of college they're not "drafted" to a corporation who they must work for. i'd not be totally opposed to doing away with the draft and just letting football teams "hire" who they want and let demand take over. or it's 3am and a wild thouht just went by - not real sure right now.

Funny you should mention brilliant... I've been asking for any evidence that you think Bush is a bust, and what have you given me?? NOTHING... I came right out and asked last post how the Rose Bowl proves he's a bust. Ignored.

And I'm sure you watched all of the USC games... even the ones against Arkansas, Hawaii and all the ones that were on Fox Sports West... You probably watched the ones that were over at 3:00 am EST. You know, since you get all those channels on the East Coast. I'm sure you have all of them. In fact, you probably watched every game of every team didn't you?? Oh and every NFL game too... You're awesome. I guess your parents are loaded and you get the Sunday Ticket and the College gameplan package too, beamed directly into your room in the basement.

BTW East Coast Bias doesn't mean you love other ACC teams. It only means you prefer what you know, what you see all the time on the East Coast. I expected someone who watched all the USC games... and probably every UCLA, Stanford, Washington, and Oregon State game too... to not have an East Coast bias. You know you watch so many West Coast games and all.

Oh and the DMN poll was asking teams who was on the top of their draft board. Who do you think they asked?? The janitors?? Genius.

Extremeskins rules, got great debate skills over there.

Because 90% (or more) of the time he faced inferior overall teams.

Have your draft day. How am I impeding that exactly ?

You're like the annoying friend. You don't mind him so much except that he comes to visit way too often.

You should go away for awhile so that we can start to miss you.

:D

The "he played against weak competition" can be thrown out almost every year for some players.

Carson Palmer played in that same conference. You think he's a bust?

Suuuure you did.

Yeah, Lendale White sucked that game.

Yeah ok, I guess 82 yards rushing, 95 yards receiving and 102 yards on Kick returns isn't his "career best game." Still pretty darned good. Kinda hard to beat 513 total yards, which would be his career best BTW. The fact that they lost (by 3 points) hardly points to Bush being a bust. The only thing it means is USC's defense was bad.

Well,,, Bush is a undersized(a measley 200lbs) and there are questions about his durability/ ability to play every down. I'd be wary of him myself. While Warrick Dunn made people eat their words when they called him too small, he is one of the few exceptions,,,

Its their careers and their lives why shouldnt they use whatever leverage they have if they think its better for them?

As someone said earlier in this post (maybe multiple time cuz I didn't read every single one), this is definately becoming a trend with these draftees more and more. They are trying to dictate where and who they play for.

NFL should crack down on any kind of holdouts who sit out the year waiting for next draft. This would be one rule that could be done to discourage any of that talk is if a player holds out to enter draft one year later, said player cannot be drafted in first round. He will satnd to lose millions.

Other than that, teams need to get a little backbone and tell these players to shut the hell up and you will play for us and like it.

I agree. Its basically a *****slap right in the organizations faces when this happens. I understand you don't wanna draft somebody that doesn't wanna play for you. But why cater to these college players? Kind like the pro days. Why do NFL teams have to wait for certain days and fly all over the country to watch these guys workout when there is a thing called the Combine where everybody can workout there?

200lbs undersized?

since when do we want a bunch of linemen sized guys running the ball?

How much do you think Emmitt weighed? look it up and you will find out that 200lbs is not undersized and durability is not a question.
