Jenkins might move to FS

I'm the last guy to want to blast someone on this site. But I have to say this is a very very very bad idea.

Jenkins is a top young CB. One of the most difficult to find/valuable commodities in football.

Jenkins to FS is comparable to Austin moving to RB. Or Romo to TE.

If people had an issue with Jenkins' tackling in last year's Giants game, they need to see how he made "business decisions" against the Jets in their playoff game.

What's up Brave? Cro was a stuf when he came on the scene in 07, he's fallen on his face since.

I know there are at least a few other choice backers at the zone who think as highly of him as I do.

I'm doing great. How bout you? And, yes, I think very highly of Choice. He's probably my favorite back on the entire team.

to defend Cromatie, who does act like a Deion Sanders wanna be only he's not nearly as good, but in both of those plays it didn't show that he wasn't willing to tackle. On the first one, he took the wrong angle and the RB blew past him ( happens quite a bit in the NFL ) and in the second one the play was over by the time the RB got to him.

As for the trade, is tempting, but I'd pass. I still have ideas of Cromatie being a good player but the truth of the matter is that he's declined. Choice, on the other hand, IS a workhorse that needs to be given the ball more.

Cut Marion and use Choice more.

No offense man but...no. It wasn't a bad angle that made him look like a loser there it was the very clear fact that he began to stutter step, and almost completely stop, before even getting there cause he didn't want to hit the guy.

He could have gotten the guy there, at the very least grabbed him and slowed him down, but instead he decided to hesitate and come to almost a complete stop to watch the guy blow on by.

Are we even sure that Tomlinson is going to be released?

I wouldn't make that trade. Cromartie does not play at the same level he once did, and Choice can contribute more to this team that what Cromartie has shown as of late. Considering the uncertainty of Barber's status on the team next year, hang on to Choice and nix to this trade rumor.

You do know the odds of this trade happening are the same as being mauled by a Polar Bear and reg bear on the same day. :omg:

He could have gotten to the RB and attempted to get him down by going at his legs if nothing else.

Oh, for sure, but after taking the wrong angle, he just gave up on the play. I don't think it was because he didn't want to takle, but it's just as bad because he gave up.

Here in So.Cal they have been crucifying Cromartie.

Tomlinson recently gave an interview complaining about the disconnect between the veterans and the young players on the team, 'selfish, all about the money' etc..

The last thing we need to do is replace a high character, team oriented leader like Choice with someone like Cromartie.

Third back or not, T.Choice and players like him, are the types of individuals we need on the Cowboys.

Collect more of them, do not reduce their numbers.

Why would you want to move one of the best man coverage guys in the league to FS?

Lmao @ Alexander's post.

Awesome.
It was truly genius. It was posted on a martial arts message board, I have no idea who created it but it was excellent.

I especially liked the A.J. Smith part at the end.

I've heard various talk from Charger fans that the team is looking to move Cro. He was great in 2007 then his Int #s fell off ... a big part of that is that the Chargers aren't getting after the QB like they were in '07. Another part of that is that Cro thinks he is Deion.

They want to move him before they have to pay him big money and while he still has value. I doubt very much they want a player who is currently in the league - they want picks.
