so given the opportunity, you wouldn't take the chance on a ballhawk FS who brings the same mechanics and ability to shut down the big play as a Hamlin or Ball, correct? (not talking about Cromartie)

Well, i think the best way to draft is the typical - draft the best player available. So yea if he is the best player, although i just think Wades scheme doesn’t allow for a ballhawking safety to thrive (INTs). I believe we need to drop into the second round and draft that WR out of Texas.

Cromartie at FS is giving me a raging erection.

Who cares if his tackling isnt great. Hamlin can't tackle anyways so we arnt losing much. But we are gaining playmaking abilities!!

Some of you guys said the same thing about Mike Jenkins when he did the same thing. He came back the following year and played at another level. So what the kid had a bad couple of plays. I love Choice but I would take that trade in a minute. Would rather it be Barber though.

no way..and I think Cromartie is a good player. But there's no way you trade Tashard Choice unless your getting a premier player in return. If it was MB3, i'd be all for it

I would say no deal. Choice may be number 3 on paper, but I am not trusting MBIII to be on this roster too long into the future. Choice is worth more to us than Cromartie (sp?)

I mean, I wouldn't mind trading Choice for a good player like Cromartie, it's just I don't think we need Cromartie. He's going to be playing DB as he can't tackle well enough to be a Safety. If someone wants Choice they're going to have to give us a decent Safety and draft pick.
