Seems about right. Wentz's contract pays $32 million per season. If anyone believes Prescott's agreed upon contract average will not match or exceed that number, for ANY conceivable reason, they should see their primary care physician about prescribing themselves an emergency supply of nitroglycerin.
They will need it. Seriously.
And then there is the “I have no clue” crowd. Almost forgot about those.I'd still let him play out the season to see if he has improved any.
“I don’t have a clue” crowd.Totally agree, we have nothing to gain by signing him right now. If he has a season similar to last season and is still the same QB, we might want to start looking for a replacement anyway.
The “Enlightened” crowd.Rumor....either this is an opinion that is widely disseminated without any authority or confirmation of accuracy...Or this is a daughter of Bruce Willis.
In either case, it is hardly fact to get in a twist about.
Shouldn't talk about yourself. And then there is the “I have no clue” crowd. Almost forgot about those.
The “Enlightened” crowd.Clearly the annual dollar amount is one of multiple factors that matter. Years, bonus, incentives, etc... they all matter. 30 million per means nothing. Fake news.
The “Hater” crowd.Insanity to tie up this much cap in a midling QB, and I dont care there are no alternatives at the moment.
Again you are part of the “I have no fricken clue” crowd.Shouldn't talk about yourself.
Again you are part of the “I have no fricken clue” crowd.
Is this the every 15 minute check in from the Garret fan boy meeting? Didnt know they had wifi that deep in the Ozarks. The “Hater” crowd.
I’m not nor ever been a big fan of Garrett. Before last season even started I was saying if he doesn’t show something he needs to go. After a 3-5 start we went 7-1 and won a playoff game. He did just enough to earn another season. This year again is a make or break season for Garrett. Is this the every 15 minute check in from the Garret fan boy meeting? Didnt know they had wifi that deep in the Ozarks.
Unfortunately what our the other options? Pay him now, make it heavily incentive based and try to be able to get out of it in 2-3 years (likely 3 min)
