I think the Brooks stuff is BS.

He’s not the most physically gifted guy and he tore his knee.

I think he’s a 5th rounder. Probably a 3rd rounder when healthy.
For me with injury I agree. This RB class doesn't have a real heads and shoulders above every one else guy, the run probably starts mid to late 3rd and likely by our comp pick bottom of list types.

Even though he’s 30 he still has something left. He’s exactly what this offense could use…. Why? Because he could literally fall forward without a stacked box for 4 yards a carry.

Imagine having all the weapons we have on offense but with a big running back like Henry to go with it? It would be very tough to stop.

It also helps dak…. Not have to be the guy as much. It’s a win win all around. The Rb market isn’t going to be crazy if Henry is reasonable I’d bring him on for a year and draft a late round guy to complement him
All the weapons? Lol. All Dallas has is Lamb. Everyone else on offense is average.

If this happened it would be huge.

This would go a long way in bringing confidence to the offense come playoff time. Not just being overly dependent on the QB. Everybody says they can't beat good teams which is very true, but this would be one nice piece to the puzzle even for a year or 2. And they can still draft a RB. A lot seem to think it's just one or the other.

Please no. We need to draft a RB.
They would have to draft one. There is no way you try to grind an old powerback into the ground as the guy who gets 80% of the carries that would be pretty absurd.

This is silly. He bought his house like 9 months ago……

The board loves yesterday's players!

I'll pass on an aged RB on the decline that will command a large salary. He's not playing for the vet minimum.

If you pair him with a rookie, you could probably extend his career too

Don’t buy it from Jeff but Russini has said based on executive she’s talked to Henry is a 2nd tier rb free agent. If that’s the case and his salary is in the $6m range along with players like pollard - the door could be slightly cracked open but still not buying it.

“The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Barkley and Las Vegas Raiders star Josh Jacobs "sit at the top of [free-agent running back] lists, followed by the next wave of backs like" Derrick Henry, D'Andre Swift and Tony Pollard.
Despite the interest that Barkley and Jacobs are expected to generate, Russini noted that some teams would "rather pay [second-tier] players around $6 million rather than $10 million-plus to Jacobs and Barkley."
