I wanna know where the state of the offensive line lies. Line needs fixed and if one of the so called elite backs sign here what little good will it do if the line blocks like doo for whoever is carrying the ball? Very little has came out about why this oline under performed last year in the run game. They are not elite and haven't been for years now.

Makes sense for all parties, just keep in mind we wouldn't be getting prime Henry but think he can still be a productive back. Just make sure you pair him with a young scat back as a compliment.

He will probably get too much money but for me Jacobs is the clear top back available.

Barkley is not anywhere near reliable.

Guys like Henry worry me due to so many top RBs over the years being fine at one point then dropping off the map immediately.

Why in the hell are they even IN this spot? An RB should have been taken in one of the last two drafts, if not both.

Never ahead of anything. Always about patching a dire need and then they don’t even address all of them in the end.

They actually are in a good spot. Plenty of backs to chose from.

I would not be surprised at all if at the start of training camp, Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Tony Pollard, and Jonathan Brooks are on the roster listed as RB

Hoping for change for change sake on Pollard. He really isnt a lead guy.

But yeah it’s a good year to need a back.

It’ll also ought to make some talented ones drop in the draft. Hope they play it right.

Can anyone think of a rumor of a top player coming to the Cowboys where it actually happened? You might have to go back to Deion and TO.

The speculation kicked off on Thursday after Henry purchased a home in Dallas. Henry trains in Dallas during the offseason and already had a home in the area, so this hardly meant anything in terms of Henry's free agency.
He has been doing that for years. This is someone trying to connect some dots and make a story.

The Cowboys won't be signing Henry for two reasons - the money and his age.

Smoke and mirrors in my book, BUT..... if they can bring in Henry and the rumors that Pollard would come back on a team friendly deal are true..... WOW

we should’ve got him last year around the trade deadline
No.

Too old and too much $$$. With the run scheme the Cowboys had last year, that would have been a wasted draft pick. He sure wouldn't have helped against GB in the playoffs. Additionally the Titans said they weren't trading him.
