Of course parents are going to have loyalty towards the coaches that originally recruited their kids. They probably care less about W/L than fans - more about who is taking care of their baby. I'm not sure what she said, but I imagine he's gone. From a football standpoint, he should go. His stock couldn't get that much higher. RBs usually won't go early, so take what you can get when it's at its peak. FWIW, his dad said he's made a decision, though.

Word is Bears RB coach Stan Drayton might be joining the staff as Co-OC/RB coach.

He's considered one of the best RB coaches in the NFL and recruited Cam Newton to Florida and Zeke to OSU. He was twice Meyer's recruiting coordinator.

Saw a headline, I think it was on DMN, said something to the effect - "Charlie Strong was the right man for the job, but he wasn't the right coach for the job". Pretty much sums it up for me.
