Rumor: Jerry has eye on Cowher and Fisher

Taken from another forum: As per sirius NFL Network. Heard this in the morning that Jerry had these two coaches on his wish list. I hate to talk about this after a great win but personally even if we won a Super Bowl with Phillips I am not a fan of his as a head coach. On the other hand I would love either of those two, esp Cowher and the toughness he would bring. They were saying Fisher might be fired at seasons end.

Adam Schein on Sirius was speculating. I can't see either as Cowher (he's a dunce anyway) would not work with Jerry and I don't see Fisher losing his job or resigning.

These are the same people who couldn't believe we'd get Parcels when that talk surfaced or that it would never work.

This is the NFL's flagship franchise. No HC would turn down the opportunity to coach this team.

You have a loaded roster and a franchise QB. This isn't exactly a rebuilding project we're talking about here. Any great HC could come in here and have us in next years SB.

Because some of these coaches have a job already so you can't go after them. Some have recently been fired over the last year or 2 so it is not like guys like Shananhan is gods gift to coaching, he evidently did not do enough to keep the job he had and same could be said for Gruden. I have nothing personal aginst these guys and would be willing to give them a fair chance to prove themselfs if we were to hire them.

However Wade is still finishing up his 3rd season as HC if he gets the job done I would rather stick with a man who got us over the hump one we have not gotten over since 1998

They have said a few times on the fan today JJ is wanting a coach in his 40s and is thinking of Stoops.

But is all just talk because I doubt not many or if anyone really knows what JJ is thinking.
