No Oklahoma State player was selected during the seven-round NFL draft, but two Cowboys signed rookie free-agent contracts on Monday - linebacker Donovan Woods with Pittsburgh Steelers and fullback Julius Crosslin with Dallas.
As of 2 p.m. Monday, OSU's most high-profile draft-eligible players - wide receiver Adarius Bowman and tailback Dantrell Savage - had not finalized free-agency deals.
As a redshirt freshman in 2004, Woods quarterbacked OSU to seven victories and an Alamo Bowl appearance. In 2005, he was moved to a safety position. Before the 2007 season, he was shifted to OSU's "star" position (a hybrid safety-linebacker position), and he wound up leading the team in tackles.
A short-yardage specialist, Crosslin got only 145 carries during his four-season OSU career, but he scored 23 touchdowns.
