The players union also agreed to the personal conduct policy. There’s a slew of evidence that policy sucks too.

Why is it so hard for some to stay out of trouble? Really how many of us have a hard time dealing with life and staying out of trouble. Frankly many players put themselves in these situation by stupid actions on their own part.

Did I not say that Gregory doesn’t also have responsibility?

Sad part is that until the owners change it then we are stuck over paying a guy that shows unfair punishment practices and let’s someone like mara influence his decisions. Once it effects more than half of them then maybe it changes.

Yeah I am still in disbelief about this. Becoming blatantly obvious that goodell shows favoritism. And the leagie owners are ok with it as long as it don’t affect them.

Elliot has 6 game suspension because a chick said he hit her. The law never punished him.

2 other players have real DV issue and neither get 6 games. I believe 1 had the suspension reduced.

And JJ does more and makes more money for the NFL than any other owner. And the other teams just stand there with there hand out collecting money from him.

Yeah, but I’m just a crackpot...

Seems like if he was going to be punished the league would've done something about it before today, considering he recently met with league offices - presumably about this situation..

If he failed a test then the meeting wouldn’t have been a scheduled meeting. There maybe something to this but it’s not drug related. And if he is suspended for 1 game that happens to be against goodell best friends team then I am convinced that goodell is dirty.

Dude, Goodell + the Mara camp has poisoned the NFL against the Cowboys for YEARS!

If obvious favoritism is taking place consistently, the system needs repaired.
40 million a year to a man to do dirty things to a team that makes the NFL more money than a lot of team combined isn’t right. If I am JJ I start throwing around some weight. Maybe quit making the NFL this money for a year or so and suddenly the league makes some changes. Lol.

The other owners let it slide. Until it affects them they don’t care. Stick it to the Cowboys so they don’t take over the NFL. Lol.

Its shocking considering Mara had the well known cocaine addict LT on the Giants for well over a decade with no repercussions.

And the discrepancy between DV cases where Zeke was punished to extreme vs. other more serious DV cases, especially the serial abuser who kicked for Mara, showcases the unfairness and blatant favoritism.

Oh you can still play and get stoned, just as long as the substance used is on the list approved by a small group of corporate fat cats.

This is the same NFL whose team doctors were handing out opioid painkillers like they were tic tacs.

A drug test is vastly different than an alligation of abuse by a woman.

Does the NFL need to investigate their own testing procedure?

No, the league’s general inability to handle any policy or suspension related procedures consistently or equatably is what the issue is.
