Don't forget about OBJ. I guess the NFL thought that reflected positively on the NFL...

Exactly, and nothing's come out about that. Then again, I suppose you have to have a track record for a real problem to come out about it. Regardless, I strongly doubt this story.

Somebody hold me. I really can't take this. Even with Jerry's "we are taking it day-to-day with RG" in the back of my mind, always, I thought RG was out of the woods.

This is horrible news.

To the folks speculating that he may have came clean to the team, rather than the league piss testing him, I hope you are right. But even if that is the case, as another poster stated, all of these occurrences with RG are just deflating.

Just deflating.

Calm down dear boy. The "news" seems horrible, but it is actually suspicious to me given the timing. Now, could it be the reason he went to NY to meet with doctors? I suppose so, but, again, no issues came up there, and blood work comes back quicker than the reports that the media is giving about this. So, for what it's worth, I'm cynical of this story.

I’m sure it’s that he self reported it. Might not even be drug related, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not allowed alcohol either.

I could see alcohol being the issue if there's anything wrong. A self report of alcohol with it being against the terms is possible. It would certainly coincide with a lack of issues involving marijuana with the team doctors. I don't know if the league will necessarily punish you for alcohol though, unless you get arrested for DUI or DWI. Then again, this is the Cowboys, so you never know with the league.

When you think about it....

If he failed a test, he would be suspended already.

This is a missed meeting or something. It doesn't add up.

Yup, I'm not great at math, but something doesn't add up about this "news" report.

This is why I hate this type of behavior from reporters. Posting vague tweets.

Either post all of the information you know, right now. Or, wait until you gather all of the information and THEN post the story.

The vague tweet crap is so damn annoying.

Exactly, and I'm tired of the dishonesty from the media. Is it really that hard for them to wait until they have ALL the facts before they come out with a "news" story? This is vague, and even Stevie Wonder can see the holes in this story.

It’s crazy tho. The coaches and front office are acting like this is nothing. I really hate reporting now and days. It’s just lazy reporting

and, in some cases, outright bull**** (pardon my French). This sounds like media dishonesty to me.

If it were allowed, I have a meme that i'd like to post to show what I really think of this, but it's rated PG-13 or maybe even R so I can't lol.
