And the reason he'd have to flex is BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE MANY DE options right now. So at this point, he was being counted on as potentially being a depth guy at DE as well as DT.

At this point, any guy who can play DE, even a flex guy like a J. Crawford, that is lost or out with an injury could be a blow to an already shaky position.

I am just frustrated at such a half assed approach to fixing a problem that the front office admitted was a problem last year. And when given a few vet options to sure it up a bit, the front office acted like everything was fine, when, IMO, it's not.

We are either cursed or have a collection of the most irresponsible ( Lawrence and Gregory ) and injured ( mayowa, tapper, Collins, Jenkins, Irving, and T Crawford ) d linemen ever assembled in this universe.

I think I might be missing a D line injury or two as well. We need to start looking at both talent and durability when drafting and/or have someone check the water because our dudes are getting hurt left and right.
