Except for CeeDee losing the ball in the sun, the Cowboys would have been leading at the end of the first half.
The Eagles got a turnover, but other than that Rush kept their offense forced to drive the length of the field to score.
It makes a difference, and our defense responded by holding the Eagles pretty well.
Rush did make the Cowboys a better team.
But, the momentum the Eagles gained at the end of the first half and beginning of the third quarter was too much to overcome with McCarthy continuing to be ultra conservative with the offense.
It was the running game, that moved the ball. Rush played poorly and played worse as we abandonded the running game.

I am not doing it for the likes.
If I did that I'd be like you.
The truth is what it is, and Rush- even though he had a terrible game- kept the Cowboys close early and didn't overwork the defense.
I think they could have won if McCarthy hadn't been so tentative with his play calling.
you know the game is 4 quarters? not just one quarter? being close in first quarter is meaningless. you know that? right? do you? do you? really. do you?

That part was bad.
But he didn't give the Eagles any momentum changing interceptions.
You can say what you want, but the Cowboys had a chance to win that game.
So it wasn't all bad.
momentum changing interceptions!!! but fumbles lost is not momentum changing....LOL 3 and out is not momentum changing? 4 passes of 0 or negative yards is not momentum changing?
how do you come up with this stuff.

you can't make this stuff up....

oh, wait, did you see goff throw 5 interceptions and they won the game
:lmao:

I've always been a rush supporter as a backup, but yesterday his passes in the 15 yd range, we're not getting there in a timely manner. Those days are over, I'm afraid.

Rush is terrible! So is Dak! Like wise the 3rd stringer! Get rid of all of them!
I hope we lose the rest of our games and pick a QB in the1st round!

He looked like he just got off the couch and entered the game.

Maybe had lifted some 12oz weights in the offseason. His arm was never strong but it looked extra weak in that game.

I know this is just a stupid troll post, but even the opening premise is wrong.

Lamb catching the TD makes it 10-7, but then the Eagles drove the field for a TD right before the half, so best case scenario it's 14-10 at halftime.

It was the playcalling that limited Rush's ability to stretch the field.
But he managed the game. He made bad plays with the fumbles, but that happens.
Still the Cowboys were in the game.
If McCarthy had allowed him to stretch the field with the passing game they might have won.

We have a lot of players playing bad!
We do. But it seems very malicious at this point. But I guess humans will human. If you can tear others down as harshly as possible... it makes you feel better about yourself?

We been talking about how bad this team is through and through. You'd think there'd be a smidgeon of compassion for Coop being thrown in it.

But nope...stomp him in the ground hard. And laugh about it. Sad.

The kid lectures me about wound to tight then he does something stupid like that.

No sense of humor AND an internet bully? Bad combination!
Kid is probably right...sadly, one of many on this board who need to grow up. As you can see, he didn't even bother to reply to me. Not sure how I will sleep tonight

Have zero explanation for how poor he looked compared to his more than acceptable game manager skillset he showed just 2 short years ago.

Don't know what happened to that guy but would appreciate if he could make a return visit just so the scores aren't so lopsided.

Wow,
I guess I'm rooting for less embarrassing losses while accepting that they will be losses all the same.

Gotta be careful I don't become a product of this environment too.
My gosh I hope we aint lookin at Campo ball again for the next 3-4 years which is what I fear.

Geez.

Say what you will about Dak (playoff choke artist, garbage time stat padder, most overpaid player in NFL history compared to his ability, FAT AND OUT OF SHAPE, noodle armed, runs like a 60 year old man, mentally slow, lazy, etc)

And while all that may be true, he at LEAST deserves to be on an NFL roster (ideally as a backup, or as one of the lowest paid starters considering he's around the 25th best QB in the league).

The team will NEVER win a single thing with Dak, even if you gave him 100 years at his prime to do it.

But Cooper Rush..... you might as well go grab your dentist or accountant, throw a jersey on him, and put him out there.

At least Dak can pad meaningless stats in 4th quarter against prevent defenses....Cooper Rush can't even do that.

Who cares though. They both comPLETELY suck....just to different degrees, with different paychecks.

Ceedee said that. He said the offense didn't do anything to help Rush. He said it. I believe it. He was there.

But nobody and his brother thought the cowboys would win.
