Germans Seize Russian Billionaire Alisher Usmanov’s Mega-Yacht
Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov was sanctioned by the European Union on Monday. Two days later, Forbes has learned from three sources in the yacht industry that one of his prized possessions—the 512-foot yacht Dilbar, valued at nearly $600 million—has been seized by German authorities in the northern city of Hamburg.

Usmanov purchased Dilbar in 2016 for a reported $600 million from German shipbuilder Lürssen, which custom-built it for him over 52 months. The firm calls it "one of the most complex and challenging yachts ever built, in terms of both dimensions and technology." At 15,917 tons, it's the world's largest motor yacht by gross tonnage, and is typically manned by a crew of 96 people. Dilbar boasts the largest swimming pool ever installed on a yacht as well as two helicopter pads, a sauna, a beauty salon, and a gym. Its plush interiors have more than 1,000 sofa cushions and it can host up to 24 people in 12 suites.

I'm very concerned about this prevalent attitude that says that nuclear-armed adversaries should be allowed to get away with aggression (without US direct intervention) just because they are nuclear armed. That's the most unintentionally pro-proliferation message one could send.

And if any country outside of Ukraine sends drones to attack Russian convoys then Vlad should just stop messing around and send in the tactical nukes to those countries. The usual suspects have already done enough damage.

I said send them to the Ukrainians to use.
It seems like Turkey has done so already.
Other countries are sending other weapons.
Was just curious if other countries would send drones.

Ukraine has the right to defend themselves. Other countries have the right to send them means to defend themselves

You want to exhaust all diplomatic alternatives before getting into a nuclear pissing match.

I see a lot of that in this thread, I feel it’s as if no one remembers the Cold War. There’s a reason why Russia didn’t get directly involved in Korea or Vietnam. There’s a reason why the United States didn’t get directly involved in Eastern Europe or Afghanistan. When you have nukes, people take note and back off, something the Ukraine is sadly realizing now. The only time it ever turned into a direct standoff was Cuba, Kennedy had no choice, and they almost destroyed the entire world because of it. That’s why North Korea, Iran, and all these rogue states are doing everything they can to be a force. It just tactically changes everything for you.

Putin's not rationale he invaded Ukraine & he’s still issuing demands while he’s losing in every way. How sad he can’t accept the fact that the world is turning against him & his nation. Asking for a meeting (s) means he wants to maintain control & he wants the sanctions & other concerns eliminated.

He wants to call the shots & remains delusional while the world turns against him. He should reach out to Assad who may be his only friend next to Xee xhing ping (pong)! Ukraine should not talk at all to this invader he needs to call his troop killers home & send himself to Siberia & give the presidency to Navalny. Time for a younger leader who can rid Russia of all thugs in leadership & elsewhere. Time for a legally elected leader who won’t rob his nation, & one who will get along with the world.

I'd like to see the Ukrainians drive them out and chase them all the way to Moscow
