Another yacht seized.....

French authorities have seized a yacht they say is linked to Russian oligarch Igor Sechin.
The letter said the yacht had arrived in La Ciotat on Jan. 3, 2022, and was originally set to remain there until April 1 to undergo repairs. However, France’s ministry of finance said that the yacht was preparing to cast off when authorities began their check.

The ministry said this departure attempt constituted an infraction of a customs code, in aiming to breach planned economic and financial restrictions.

Sechin, former deputy prime minister of Russia, has been the CEO of Russian state oil company Rosneft since 2012. According to the European Union’s sanctions document, Sechin is one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “most trusted and closest advisors, as well as his personal friend.”

Ukraine Forces Reportedly Kill Russia General Andrei Sukhovetsky in Blow to Invading Army

Ukrainian news outlets were reporting that Andrei Sukhovetsky, deputy commander of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District, had been killed on Wednesday.

Media outlets cited a post on VKontakte announcing the death, written by Sergei Chipilev, a deputy of the Russian veterans group, Combat Brotherhood.

"It is with great sorrow that we learned of the tragic news about the death of our friend, Major General Andrei Aleksandrovich Sukhovetsky, on the territory of Ukraine during a special operation," his post said, without specifying the circumstances.

Agree. It's time for some stealth bomber strikes, under plausible deniability. I would have loved to see what the B-21 Raider could have done, but alas, it's still years away from service.
