tough decision in my opinion, both maclin, crabtree, and RW11 are good, but.. i guess i would go with RW11 cause you have seen at the NFL level of what he can do if he is the #1 reciever.

Crabtree. Younger, perfect combo of size and speed (Andre Johnson).

This guy is going to be a stud.

I wonder how much more we would have had to give up to get Crabtree if we DIDNT trade for Roy ?

we could've worked somethin out with detroit, like maybe our 1st and a player or even the picks we gave them. but i doubt it.

Mardy Gilyard from Cincy is a beast too.

I don't know if he is draft eligible though.

I wouldn't want the #1 pick, too much guaranteed money to pay.

I would have traded up to #4 or #5, somewhere around there, depending on how he does at the combine.

Crabtree is nowhere near Andre Johnson's level of athleticism.

I would take Maclin, personally.

:laugh2: Nowhere near Andre's level or athleticism? Wow..

Dare I ask, why would you say that?

Everyone needs to remember how inflated Crabtree's numbers really are. TT threw the ball every play so of course he will look good. So did lil Danny lol. He will be a good player in this league but we did trade for a proven player so I'm ok with the trade...as of now.;)

Jerry gave up too much for Galloway, but the real problem with that trade was he never had a QB worth a darn throwing to him, while he was a Cowboy. I wonder how Galloway would have done with Romo, if Big Bill wouldn't have made his mind up after one year to get rid of him? The Galloway, Glenn, Bryant combo was actually pretty decent in 2003 even with Quinthy throwing the ball.

Who do you take, and why? - Hope this isn't the Galloway trade all over again.

We wouldnt be able to get either.

But the answer is Crabtree in a heartbeat. Anyone who says otherwise is either a Dallas homer, or cant spot talent when they see it.

If you think Crabtree's talent is all about stats, you are way off.

But yes, his numbers are way inflated.

Maclin will be good, but he won't be a #1 for a couple years.

Crabtree can step in and be a #1 on a handul of teams. (Ravens, Jags, Raiders, Eagles, Giants (without Plax), Bears, 49ers.

No I don't. I think he will be a good WR but maybe not one I would like to pick with a top 5 selection

Crabtree is nowhere near the athlete you make him out to be and he won't do anything near what he has if he isn't in a west coast offense. His height/weight is comparable to Andre Johnson, but Johnson is MUCH more athletic.

Maclin is a fairly polished WR and will be a #1 before Crabtree IMO. He has good size and is far more athletic than Crabtree. Plus, he's a better fit for intermediate/deep passes than Crab.

edit: That list of teams he'd be #1 for is way off IMO. The guy is gonna go in the mid to late 1st round--where he should go.

They wanted our #1 and Ware for Calvin Johnson. No thanks.

I'll take Ware and Roy Williams for Crabtree and our 3rd round pick.

:laugh2: Mid to late round? I would make damn near any bet with you that he goes top 10. There is absolutely ZERO chance of him going 15 or higher.

Im glad it happened the way it did or we would have had the same ridiculous situation here as last off season..........thread after thread wanting JJ to give up the world for Mcfadden.(glad we didnt do that)..except this time it would have been for Crabtree......no way we would get at the top 5 for less than we gave for RW11 ...weve got a proven commodity in RW11...no he didnt make an impact YET.....but he is a proven WR in this league and will make disbelievers eat their words next season

AJK - You seem to be on his payroll, so I'll just let the future sort this one out. Thanks anyway.
