Its a joke, basically all gay men think that a guy who calls himself Bi is 100% gay and afraid to say so for whatever reason.

FWIW, I personally think there is a separate category called "anything that moves" but I don't really consider that Bisexual. IMO women can actually be bi, men who say they are Bi usually just haven't sorted out their identity.

There was study with males that identified as bisexual. The had them watch straight and gay porn and see how much they stimulated. What they found was that participants were either stimulated by either the straight or gay porn, but not both.

You could theorize based on this that bisexual males are either biologically straight or homosexual, but with some inclination to experience the other side.

I believe that. Just talking to gay friends, they uniformly believe that women can actually be Bi but with men its a switch that is either on or off. They think men saying they are Bi is just a copout for gay men that aren't ready to be completely out.

Look at this way......the NFL as a male dominating sport has likely seen well over 50k+ players pass through the league. If I'm correct this is only 2nd former/current NFL player admitting he's gay. So yea I can see why it's news......just me though

Yes and no, we haven't had an openly gay player in the NFL so it would be newsworthy if an openly gay player was in the league without incident. It would be the dog that didn't bark kind of thing.
