Yes and no, we haven't had an openly gay player in the NFL so it would be newsworthy if an openly gay player was in the league without incident. It would be the dog that didn't bark kind of thing.

We just had the kid from Missou a few years ago. I don't know if he's still in the league or not but he was openly gay. Michael Sam, I think his name was?

Both miss the mark. 1000s of young men playing sports who aren't out. They need more role models to make it a true non issue.

I don't care period. I don't care to hear about it or what his personal preference is. Here's the thing, and I already know you are going to be terrible at this, 1000s of "Young Men" don't give a flying you know what if I'm straight or whatever. Why should I care what they are, or anybody for that matter? The answer is they shouldn't. And BTW, if you are using athletes as role models to begin with, I believe I see the problem here. All of this is BS and I doubt most fans care. Go be whatever but don't waste our time with it. We don't waste his or yours by demanding you know what we prefer. Who cares?

No, I don't say anything at all because why would I? It's none of my business and I don't care. What I am telling you is that you shouldn't either, learn to mind your own business and stop trying to make every little thing an issue. I mean, you want to make this a thing, fine, go find a board that discusses these things and immerse yourself. This is a Football board and that's what everybody comes here for. Once the discussion goes away from the sport, who cares?

You are trying to explain to a fan base who is saying, "We Don't Care", sexual preference is no longer a thing that is held for or against anybody in terms of making a Football Team. It's where you want to be as a society and yet, you are here saying we should. Do you not see the irony?

But yeah, it's a good question, why am I here? Really good question. While we are on the subject, let me ask you, why you here? What is it you are trying to accomplish? Are you trying to get everybody onboard with this whole, "young mean need gay role models" thing? Don't you see that this line of thought is actually a step back, in terms of progress on the issue. I'm good to bury it and move on forever. You want to resurrect it and what, turn it into an issue? Why, for what purpose?
