the injuries have just caught up with Ware...he can still be a viable secondary rusher but we need to start looking for the future this draft.

My guess is we'll re-sign Ware to a 10 year 85 million dollar contract.

Its hard to get a sack when Manning was getting the ball out in under 2 seconds on a consistent basis.

There is this thing called a coverage sack. Of course that would require your DB's to be within striking distance of the receiver

The middle of the field about 6 yards past the LOS seemed to be open anytime Manning needed it.

Spencer has not been average.. That's just utter nonsense.

Nonsense is what is being spouted about Ware. Spencer's career production has been average except for one season, which is an obvious outlier.

Plus Ware doesnt really make sacks when they matter anyways. I've seen Spencer make more sacks when it counted than Ware. Only one that sticks out is a couple years ago vs the Saints.

I went over this in a different thread with someone else. That's the perception. That Ware makes little impact when it counts. But it is flat out wrong.

The problem is, when he makes an impact it doesn't matter because the game is squandered some other kind of way.

Over fifteen million dollars per year for two pass rushers and zero sacks today.
It's becoming foolish to defend Ware from those of us who say he rarely makes plays late in games when it really counts....even going against second stringers. Ironically he's just like romo.
Payton gets rid of the ball in about 3 seconds. He's the least sacked QB by far. You do actually understand football, right?
