this Saints team isn't even close to the 2007 Patriots. 2007 Tom Brady is so much better than Drew Brees will ever be.
Yep.

I cant help but think people's memory's are distorted. You can compare Bress to Brady in the 2nd half of the season when he wasnt playing as well, but there's no comparison to the first half at all.

luckily we're comparing teams.

New Orleans doesn't make mistakes.

They are as unstoppable as Eli Manning's Eco Citizen Watch.

There's nothing to compare. You try to say this Saints team makes no mistakes which is a lie. Brees has had alot of turnovers. He's still in his 7th game and already has 6 INTs and only 16 TDs. Brady didnt have his 6th INT til the 14th game of the season and had completed better than 70% of his passes in 6 of his first 8 games.

And you cant compare the two defenses thru 7 games. The Saints D makes alot of plays, but also gives up alot of plays. The Pats in the 1st half of the season was a much more disciplined defense.

Didn't Brees get hit and fumble in the first half? Wasn't it returned for a TD? Yea, think so. Is that not a mistake?

i don't know what to tell you. they don't make mistakes.

Everyone, just stop it. This team has only played and won 6 games at this point. That New England team won 18 in a row. They were a miracle catch away from going 19-0. Let's wait until the end of the season before annointing the Saints. Very good? Absolutely. That good? No.

I'm not even sure NO is going to win tonight.

I thought ATL might beat them going into tonight, so I'll stick with that.

Saints offense might be unstoppable...but their defense is like a sieve.

I thought this was the game thread for the Falcons-Saints game? While you all have been arguing over the 2009 Saints vs the 2007 Patriots, the Falcons have made this a very interesting game.

So the Falcons held the Saints scoreless in the 3rd.....this is their weakest quarter this year.

You know, overlooked in all the hoopla from yesterday, Dallas once again gave up no 3rd quarter TDs, for the 7th time this season.....in fact they shut out Seattle in the 3rd all together.

Baseball is just INCREDIBLY boring.

During the MNF commercials, I've been flipping over to the world series and during the two minutes or so of commercial break they only manage to get off about 3 pitches and absolutely no action.

Saints offense hasnt done anything in the second half tonight...Atlanta just converted on 4th down too.

well i take it back. saints are making our win look better.

think white takes the lead in td receptions.
