Corey Chavous has 3 INTs, and 8 passes defensed, in the past two years. He is 30 years old, and seems to have hit his peak three years ago.

yeah if a while to u is over the weekend he will have a new team by monday guaranteed, my only hope is we take a look at him before he is gone.........

Can we all just get together and talk about Dwight Smith in a constructive manner? I don't see why someone has to get personal about other people that have a vested interest in us signing him?

Listen guys. The best year that Roy Williams had was his rookie year when he had a dependable other safety in Darren Woodson to cover for him. Since then his production has declined. Why?

Well you just need to look at how Zimmer uses Roy. He constantly uses Roy on deep pass coverages which is not his strong suite.

Having another dependable FS such as Dwight Smith will make this team a much more deadly team I can gaurantee. Its time that we look into D. Smith and see how good he really is. Have him come here for a look. It can't hurt.

Lastly, I think that he can sign for which ever team will pay him the most. I don't think he can be claimed off waivers but I may be wrong. Correct me if I am.

Why would it scare you? I truly believe Smith could be our missing piece to the SB. He would also give Watkins & Beriault a year or two to sit & learn from a real pro. Once he becomes too expensive, we cut him loose, and put the better of the before mentioned youngsters in.
