Had to ask.....becasue some of the same was questionable about him too.....oops, but TRomo is beloved, yet ringless too. My bad.
Sure....becoming one of the best qbs of his time...among several very good qbs....as walk on.....by being a lazy slacker.

Sure. Good lord you guys are such miserable sobs.

If 31 teams don't want Zeke, logically why would the Cowboys?
Maybe his agent priced him out. It's not like we don't love Zeke here. Just not what we were paying him. He's a Cowboy 110% to me, and will always be. Same as Dak, though less so for me. This is the first truly bad bad bad year for Dak. Above average, and sub-elitish otherwise imo. He was awful this past season. If it repeats you move on.

This is like a Shakespeare tragedy. It really is. How can a running back with no serious injuries be washed at 27 years old?

Reminds me of the great Earl Campbell. He lost it really quick.

Elliot should’ve taken better care of himself. He really wasn’t the same after getting that money.
What makes you think he hasnt played injured? Because his leg wasnt bent back the wrong way? That is your bar? Saquan sits out with a hang bail but zeke haters love him.
Yall nuts.

After Dallas drafts a RB they could resign Elliott at a very good price.

You then would have Pollard as the one, draftee as the two, and Elliott as the three.

I think we could live with that.
They already signed Jones. They aren't going to sign another veteran. They aren't going to just pay Jones and then let him go and give him free money. Jones got a signing bonus.

Lol, how is that hate? It is just common sense. Zeke is not playing for the Cowboys and it would be a good idea for him to retire. Why? Because he already made money and the vet minimum isn't worth it for him to play. The only way it would be worth it would be if he was totally broke.

Only 1 player left from the 2016 draft which failed when everything is said and done.
And he will be leaving next spring to finish their era as Dallas Cowboys......

I could understand some that wanted to keep him as a short yardage specialist at a VERY low contract For his experience and pass blocking

I prefer the clean split and moving on from him.
Hard to really have a short yardage specialist that doesn’t help on ST

This reminds me so much of “The line forms here” Garrett as a head coach awakening for a few. Turns out “softening em up” is not an in-demand skill (or a real one like “Great short yardage back”)

That’s why good for him for getting his money

Maybe wait, get healthy, wait for an injury opportunity this year with a contender. I think at that point salary not guaranteed and he might find a good situation

Lol yeah right. I have a great life. Great family. Plenty of money. Zeke is a man child that ruined his career. That’s a fact fanboy.
First of all , Congratulations on your great life and great family. Plenty of money? That's not the mark of a great life, you should know that and only those who do not have money boast about.......Having money.

Zeke is NOT a man child as you say. He's a grown assed man who is doing quite well for himself financially. Because no matter how much of a great life you have, I'll bet you a dollar to a doughnut I bet you'd trade with zeke for his access to

women alone. And fanboy, I've been accused of being much worse, nice try though

So he had > 250 carries 3 times in his career. None since 2019. Henry at 28 had 349 this season. AP had greater than 250 carries 7 times. Emmitt did that 12 times. Cook was 1 short 3 years ago but has eclipsed 250 carries the last 4 years. Elliott being over used is a comical excuse.
Great post, that always smelled fishy to me, throw another in the bucket of soften them up, great short yardage, the line blocks different for zeke, a pass blocking specialist, etc.
