That can be said for many players over the history of the league.

Including some of yours and my very own.

Fixed it for ya.

I understand that, but I wasn't talking about them.

It's an odd thing that the rest of his team does well in the first two rounds of the playoffs, and he doesn't.

His great regular season performances are always lauded, but the fact that he's good for nothing in the playoffs gets overlooked.

Kind of like Barry Sanders.

Though he didn't catch many balls in college, Jones — a receiver his freshman year in high school — figures to become a bigger factor... .

Wow. That's going back. Freshman year in high school?

Maybe we can line him up at punter too. I heard he did that some in Pee Wee football.

Heh.

Don't get me wrong: I think Felix will be dangerous there. I just find it funny to point out that there is a basis for lining him up at WR by pointing to his freshman year in high school.

Especially since freshman year football in high school is a joke.

The coaches are like little kids setting up formations that you would see in the Little Giants.

It was a stupid thing for to Hurd say, but absent hyperbole I agree that Felix, if given the touches, would outperform Westbrook.

I think it is two-fold in this situation.

He is such a big part of the team that the opponents focus more on him than the rest of the offense..seriously...think about the rest of the offensive weapons that they have.

Second part is that he is a great player, but sometimes plays scared. If I see it as a fan, than certainly coaches see that.

And don't even get me started on Barry Sanders.

One thing they have in common at this point are health questions.

Westbrook is seemingly breaking down. Hopefully, Jones' injury issues last season were an isolated incident.

I'm not sure why it is stupid for Hurd to say it regardless if it is true or not. Hurd is complimenting a teammate I would say it is better than throwing a teammate under the bus. I'm not concerned with Philly reaction to his comment because it does not change anything.

Jason Garrett needs to watch more Eagles' film and incorporate Felix into the game plan like Westbrook. Ex: shuffle passes, screens, dump offs, etc...

Why is Philly going to like us less than they already do? :laugh1:
The board material is kid stuff, we could sing the praises of Westbrook and it still would not change 1 single thing. They are the Eagles we are the Cowboys there is no love loss between the 2.

We should be grateful if Jones approaches Westbrook's play. When healthy, I don't think there is a better all around threat out of the RB position.

Bulletin board material is so overrated. For one, Sam Hurd's just written a check for Felix to cash, which is just as big a motivation has he's given for Westbrook. For two, stuff like this (if it weren't said back in August) may get some coverage in game week all the way up to the whistle, but once the game starts, it doesn't matter anyway. Especially with teams like the Eagles and Giants where there's genuine animosity between them and the Cowboys to begin with.
