Not about to waste my time reading all that. You wanted a link with fans comparing him to Parsons and you got one.
It was a pretty good read. It wasn't just about disputing your post. (BTW, I also remember there being several posters who seemed to think Sam was another Parsons. It's possible I just took it that way, but I do recall thinking that they were getting way ahead of themselves.)

Keep repeating that you were correct despite everyone else knowing that you are wrong.

It's known as 'rumping...
I don't know what was being said in those links (and I'm not that worried about it) but I'm pretty sure there were threads (not necessarily titled or dedicated to the subject) in which some posters were making huge leaps about Sam's abilities. They were so hyped about it that I was disappointed that I never saw what they thought they were seeing.

He definitely shows a lot of promise, but he has a ways to go before living up to what I remember reading.

Keep repeating the comparisons don’t exist. You got slammed with a thread full of them and you’re still in denial. Lol Others are saying they’ve seen the comparisons. You took a big fat L accept it and move on!

Fans going overboard is par for the course here. There’s some comparing Cooper Rush to Tom Brady. Lol

Minus the penalties he's had, how has this young man impressed you so far. We worked him out (Quinn) saw something special in him, to take him. I know we have a lot of depth, but is there anything that you saw that sticks out so far??

Some of that stuff just has to be trolling. It gets to be too ridiculous to believe anyone could actually think that way...Then again, there are flat Earthers out there.

I think there is potential there… he’s able to use strength in a bull rush and speed. Obviously it’s limited in snaps but he’s also a bonehead with penalties. For a rookie to see him bull rush and get around a tackle with speed, that’s more than what we got out of Chaco; kidding aside, Williams has talent, time to mature those skills

A few years ago there was a thread started in the OT section about the moon landing being fake. There was one poster claiming it was Hollywood magic. There were several posters (conspiracy theorists) who were on board with him and one said the proof is that when you watch the moon landing you don’t see any stars in the sky. That gives you a pretty good idea of what you’re dealing with here. I tried locating the thread but it appears it was deleted.

I vaguely remember that. People apparently think light pollution only happens on Earth. I've even seen people claim the pictures of Earth are fake because you can't see any satellites. As if being in space should give you the ability to see something the size of a car from thousands of miles away.

Some people just want to believe anything but what they're told is true.

There’s also been a lot of strange stuff posted in the OT about the JFK assassination. Some pretty laughable theories from the conspiracy theorists. This was a pretty strange thread that still exists. I know you’ve seen this one.

I had a story or two for that thread myself. I don't necessarily believe in ghosts, but a few of the things I've experienced would be very hard to explain.

Just noticed you made an appearance in there. Probably the craziest story I ever heard was from an oddity on an old Cowboys board in the early 2000s. He claimed while he was hunting he saw a vision. o_O He said he had just taken a leak when the wind started to blow and all of a sudden he saw a glowing light up in a tree surrounding a woman. He said she didn’t say anything she just hovered in the tree smiling at him. I do believe people have seen visions but they usually appear to some down on their luck cobbler in Ecuador or some little kids herding sheep in Portugal. Never heard of one appearing to someone that was hunting who had just taken a leak. Lol

Maybe that leak was just enough to dehydrate him to the point of hallucination.:D Or maybe the mushrooms just kicked in.

That wasn’t the book on him coming out of college. He only has four tackles this season. This was a comment from one of the scouting reports on him.

Despite his troubling performance versus the run, Williams’ pass-rush flashes tend to leave a more lasting impression.

https://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/lists/instant-analysis-cowboys-no-56-pick-sam-williams/

You are not understanding that he gave up almost 30 lbs playing 5 tech in college.

Scheme matters.

As a 4-3 DE, Sam Williams is very good vs run.

Trust your eyes.
