Houston is like early 40's but is still better than others on that list. Id sign him.

They should give the important players MRI before the start the camps, and see if they can spot any damaged acl's .
That way they could take preventive measures before it tears.

still need a true 1 tech DT capable of stuffing the run and a DE that can at least play contain well at edge. Sam could have had 10 sacks this year and thats no joke. This loss is huge.

Injuries are never fun, especially when it affects your career.

It’s even worse when it’s a position you are already thin at. But hopefully he fully recovers and is back in camp next year. One silver lining is this early he had plenty of recovery time

This may sound harsh but the NFLPA fights for their players to not be touched during the off-season, and no accountability is required for players to keep in shape. I feel bad for Sam and all the players who get hurt, and this is not even 1 week of camp! Same crap every year, and these guys who sacrifice their bodies can have their careers end on non-contact drills on the first few days of camp. This is the exact reason why as much as I hate players/athletes for holding teams for ransom, they have to get it while they can. Just wait for Week 1 injuries.....it's coming and we know it, sadly
