Toss that towel. The season's over. Best case scenario for this bunch is sneaking into the playoffs at 9-7, and I doubt that after watching that garbage today.

I'm curious on what your take will be if this team fails to make it to the playoffs? There is plenty of season to go through but I still stand by my belief that this team hasn't shown anything that they can take it to the next level.

I feel your enthusiasm. But it's been the same ol Merry Go Round year after year and quite frankly I'm tired of riding it.

Well there's little I can control in that regard other than tuning in every week.

I'll voice my criticisms but for me personally if there was mo hope I wouldn't bother.

I think it's simply a manifestation of *** is wrong? Most fans believe this team to be better than it's showing, and it's frustrating to lose really close games like this. It's like the team is talented enough to win it all, but keeps failing itself.

The immediate psychological response of those who have no power (us) is to find someone to immediately blame when one has no answers. I mean, most of us don't have access to the actual video tape to see what went wrong and how. It just quells the conscience for a little bit.

Not DE but if no playoffs then there will and should be extensive coaching and personnel changes.

it just seems that they want to do just enough to scrape by to get a win, and then they have to fire themselves up all over again the next week...just to win that game

I don't see a sustaining, winning attitude with this group, or any group of Cowboys, in since forever

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

The season is over. Your setting yourself up for disappointment if you think this team is going to change all of a sudden.

We aren't nearly as talented as some of us think we are. Our secondary is pretty bad. But yet again, any game we lose, there is always one common denominator......Romo turning the ball over.

We lost this game because of it, and we lost the Giants game because of it. When he doesn't turn the ball over, we win. Pretty much every time.

When he fumbles and throws picks, we lose.

Its really that simple.

Turnovers. They can be killers. But you know what? How about OUR team getting some?! How about Spencer not letting that ball go through his hands? How about Newman not letting that ball go through his hands? Those plays were as big as anything that happened in the game. How about our guys making other QB's pay for errant passes? Balls go off our guy's heels and opponents are right there to grab the ball. Miles cuts away form where Romo was going and Champ makes a catch our receivers don't make. This is NOT a Romo apology. He has not played well overall this year. But if OUR D gets some turnovers, maybe it's the other team's that are whining on their message boards right now. I think the D played well overall today, but they missed a couple of big turnover opportunities and that's been more of a constant than bad games by our QB. That's a fact.

We could easily be 4-0, but we find ways to lose. It's that simple. This is much harder to watch and accept than those 5-11 teams that did not have the talent to win more than 5-7 games. You can accept that and hope for better players. These players are capable of double digit wins (see '07 and last year if we had Romo/better health), but they never seem to have all 3 phases playing well at the same time. The only thing that's consistent on this team is the special teams. Unbelievable...

Exactly, we have all been waiting for years for this team to change its stripes.

This loss is sickening to me. Orton couldnt get a first down if his life depends on it, yet Dallas still finds a way to give the game away. Same story different day.

We're 2-2, and our two losses were to two undefeated teams, both losses coming at the end of the game.

Glad to see we are able to win against the best in the league. Oh wait.
