confidence is everything.
dallas has it.
I agree, Dallas got over a big mental hurdle last night. When you constantly have doubters and critics telling you how you can't win it is an added weight around their neck. Heading into Tampa, I knew we were the better team and if this team can just get out of their own way they have a chance to do big things. Some of those demons were exercised last night

They look good, even dominant, but they haven't played any of the top teams except Kansas City.
Kansas City wiped the floor with them, 44-23.
While Brock Purdy's success makes for a feel good story- and it should- the 49'ers will miss Garappolo Sunday night. Purdy and the Niners have feasted on sub par opponents, but now Purdy has to face the Dallas Cowboys- and all that a complete team has to offer.
The Cowboys won't fold in the third quarter. When the second half starts, Dan Quinn's adjustments will crunch the dreams of a rookie quarterback who has become accustomed to sub .500 teams who run out of gas after they play a close first half. Purdy will find that the Cowboys secondary doesn't lay down. I predict that it will be the 49'ers offense that runs out of gas this time.
So the only question is how the Cowboys offense will fare against the Niner defense. And that will break the hearts of Niner fans. Not only will Pollard and Elliot have great games, but the defense of the Cowboys will add to that with turnovers that assist the offense. With all of that, Dak will play loose, and will have some big plays.
Cowboys 34, 49'ers 14.
And I believe that the Giants WILL beat the Eagles.
I remember when I used to think like this.

We’ve been here before and I get the benefit of the doubt on my pessimism because I’veearned it after 27 years. Win next week and we’ll be in new territory and I’ll feel better. Lose on a bad game by Dak and everyone will want to blow it up.

The Niners have every reason to be confident. They are understandably getting a lot of love and respect. But they have not beaten a team as good as the Cowboys. If we are on our game, this is going to be a fight with both teams landing big blows. If Commander-Texan-Colts Cowboy team shows up, the game will get out of reach quickly. But if we can rattle Purdy, the game could get out of hand in our favor too. I expect it to go down to the wire. Buckle up.

LMAO!!! Those who know you KNOW what you're doing here. If we lose to a so-called paper tiger you will blame Dak for not being able to beat a paper tiger. Nice try though!

I dunno.... San Fran looks pretty solid to me. Really good defense, weapons on offense. I think San Fran would be favored in a neutral site, but they are playing at home with lots of rest vs. Dallas on the road with a short week to prepare (with key coaches being absent in preparation).

I hope you are right because it will be long week for me if you are not since I am surrounded by Niners fans

San Francisco is scary because they play small ball with McCaffrey and Deebo and occasionally will kill your by getting one of their TEs or receivers schemed open for a big play. No need to say anything about the Niners defense, it’s one of the best in football, matter of fact, Dak isn’t going to have much time with their D-Line and blitzes.

We need the Dak and Moore from yesterday to win this as a close one. Moore needs to get creative and move the pocket. Furthermore, I would like to see us take advantage of TY’s route running in the short to intermediate areas. I figure all eyes will be on CeeDee.

No but we also do not have to make lite of the Cowboys play. I agree SF will be a tough task for this team but Cowboys will also be a tough task for SF. This will be a classic battle
Where did I make light of the Cowboys play?
Please don't use my post to make points I did not make.
Thank you.

Let me be clear: I think the Cowboys will beat the 49'ers because Dan Quinn will be able to rattle Brock Purdy. Beating the Buccaneers wasn't a feat; the Buccaneers shouldn't have been in the playoffs. If this was any other game, I might feel more hesitant, but I think the real issue will be the nerves of Brock Purdy catching up with him when he has to face the Cowboys defense.
The Raiders exposed the 49'ers defense, taking them to overtime. They can be gotten to.
The Cowboys still have issues, but I just think this one will go in their favor.

No, but Dak should be held accountable if he doesn't play well.
I think this comes down to Brock Purdy vs the Cowboys, and I don't think he is ready for that. He's playing great, but the Cowboys defense won't fold like the sub-par opponents he's faced.

Do you know how before a raid the bad guys start everything on fire and try to burn the evidence? I feel like that is what is happening with all the haters on this board. They are going in to panic mode and trying to burn their evidence. The real ones here all know who the haters are. Opportunities were there all season to get on this train. Sorry if you didn't get on it time.

I'm not on the Dak train, and not trying to get on it.
I don't think beating the Buccaneers has established Dak as an elite quarterback. They were 8-9 in the regular season.
I don't think Dak could beat the 49'ers in this game coming up if it were a normal situation.
I think the Cowboys will be successful because the 49'ers have a rookie quarterback that Dan Quinn can rattle. Don't make it be more than it is.
If the Cowboys didn't have a great run game, I think the 49'ers would have as big of an advantage as the Cowboys do.
I think Dak will have some limited success as the run game kicks in and the San Francisco defense has to try and overcome the struggles of Purdy.
Once the momentum in this game shifts in the Cowboys favor, I think they will keep it.

I think pointing to one game as a measure of a defense that is the best in the league (by far - 16PPG) and on an eleven game winning streak is dangerous.

I hope you are right and I hope this year is different but I’m like the abused cat who doesn’t trust their owner.

I don't get the obsession with Dak this Dak that. He plays 1 position on the team of 22 starters. It's the biggest position sure, but we need a lot more then just him to win in the playoffs. Football is and always will be a team game. The train I'm talking about is the Cowboys are a very good team. I think what is happening is haters are starting to see that this team is, for the first time in ALONG time, a very complete unit...and they are getting spooked...burning all their evidence of their pure hate for everything that is...Cowboy football. That way, when the Cowboys go out and beat the 49ers they can have their "I told you so" moment. Is this thread your I told you so thread?

That paper tiger "out-physicalled" us last year and pushed us all over the field and dominated us in the trenches and sent us home.
Cowboys had the ball with 2 min to play with the ball at midfield in the 4th quarter .
If Dak hits Cedrick Wilson on that deep throw the Cowboys win that game 24-23.
