They both played poorly at times, though the weather may have caused some control issues. Some bad decisions and better opponent defense. Still, Dak was much worse than either which makes it even worse.

I get that but if you look at it from another angle, SF played as poorly as they could play and still won. The mark of a good team is capitalizing when it counts the most. SF did, GB didn't. Doesn't matter if you outplay a team for periods of time. SF outplayed GB in the 4th quarter.

People put too much emphasis on the arm and not enough on the brain. Fran Tarkington never has a good arm. He threw like Brock Purdy on his best day. Joe Montana didn't have a great arm either. But those guys were wily. I think arm and arm strength is overrated. A QB has to be smart. He has to read defenses. He has to be calm under pressure. He has to have good awareness. He needs to make good decisions.
Savage dropped what could have been a pick 6. Purdy was lucky on that one.
