I watched them sometimes as a kid. Though not religiously.

What I watched religiously was Kung ** Theater on Sunday mornings!

EDIT: lol, really? That gets redacted out?

and I am every so very glad those kung fuuu movies did show on the weekends ( and very late at weekday nights with the Shaw Brothers films) because there were quite a few of them
that I really loved that I would have never known existed (such as the Billy Chong ones.. ala " Kung-Fuu Executioner" and " Hard way to Die" -aka Sun Dragon)

I always had my box of cereal raring to go. My favorites were:
Pink Panther
Sylvester and Tweetie
Speed Racer
Scooby Doo
Bugs/Roadrunner
Heckle&Jeckle
Land of the Lost
Flintstones
Casper

I did love those cheesy Godzilla marathons too.

King ** movies and cartoons. Ever saw " Kung ** Hustle" by Stephen Chow? (2004) Think Kill Bill meets Looney Tunes.

Wasn't Commander McBragg part of that lineup?

you're right it was Commander McBragg - not Colonel McBragg as I said it. .. and yes that was a very short clip they showed at the end of Underdog episode.
There was also a Peguin and Walrus toon that showed which was a part of that Gamma/Leonardo television production, but I forget what it was called.
I got a kick outta the clever rhyming words of Under Dog. :D

Started off the morning with

The Superfriends
then
Bugs Bunny
then
Scooby Doo
then
Fat Albert

My Mother always wanted me to get out of the house. I think she wanted the TV IMO.

Sorry, I didn't see that you'd mentioned it, and I wasn't correcting you about Commander McBragg. lol ....and you're thinking of Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumly (not sure of the spelling). Either Don Adams (Maxwell Smart) did Tennessee Tuxedo's voice, or it was someone imitating him.

yep, ..that's it Tennesee Tuxedo.

I want to see if George of the Jungle.. ..Tom Slick ...and Super Chicken was from that production group as well.
But i'm thinking it was different. Those were also favorites of mine tool

yeh, Saturday was the very best time to get all the kids together, get their full attention,.. just so they can start and finish their chores.
Once my mom turned off the television, I knew the Saturday show was over and the chores was for sure... (sigh) lol

Transformers.
G.I. Joe.
Thunder Cats.
Smurfs.
He-Man.
Popeye.

I'll take back then over anything today.

interesting that only the Smurfs and Thunder Cats are the only ones on your list that hasn't been made into a live action film ...(yet ?)
( thunder...thunder...thunder ..thunder-cats! ..Hooooooo !).... I luuuved that intro scene ! :)

Voltron - (Defender of the Universe) was another big hit I liked too.

Don't know, but I think Klondike Kat was one of theirs.
