Jim Nantz trying to stir the pot by saying the Burfict sack on Ben was not clean. Insinuating that Burfict picked him up and pile drove him into the ground. Wasn't even close to that and Mike Carey put Nantz in his place. Stick to The Masters broadcasts....Jim.
Cincy made the right play call, running the ball at the end. Steelers had 3 TOs left. Cincy needed either a 1st down or to keep it inside the 30 to have a chance a FG. The play call was fine. Hill not two handing that ball and fighting for additional yards when he didn't have to was not. Did any coach talk to him about ball security before that drive started?
The 2 point conversion play...as an embarrassing of an execution attempt since the Colts fake punt against the Pats this year.
Does A. Brown get a concussion if he doesn't get hung out to dry by Little Ben if Tomlin doesn't put a known injured QB into the game? Probably doesn't care. He got the win, standard "we'll take it, we'll clean some things up, it wasn't perfect, we'll address this and that..." response.
Munchak and Porter both knew what they were doing in their respective situations.
Some Cincy assistant coaches have either interviewed or will be interviewing for HC jobs. If you're a team that has or is going to be interviewing one of these guys does the lack of control of their players concern you after tonight? Might be looking at my list of candidates again.
The Shazier hit is what the league says is an acceptable hit because the ball carrier is a runner. I don't know how when that style of hit can injure both the carrier and the tackler. Led with his helmet, could hurt his own head or neck but the league strives for safety.
Cincy fans, you're level of scumbaggery doesn't come close to the Eagles but you gave it a great effort. Throwing stuff at Ben as he's being carted off...classy...but childs play versus Eagles fans dispatching Santa with snow balls.
I sooooooo look forward to the explanations of the players who melted down or fumbled or caused issues on the field via the cloak of twitter or snap chat or facebook versus facing the music for real through the word known as accountability.
Other than the complaining of the wet balls I thought AJ M handled the presser well. Probably has his own thoughts about certain teammates but went about it the right way at the presser. In the meantime call T. Brady who practices with soaking wet balls and ask him for tips. I'm sorry you had a playoff win pulled out from under your feet by some teammates who lack emotional control.
As a fan of football I felt like I watched a great game tonight but was robbed of its greatness at the end. It was a disgrace really and both organizations can shoulder the blame.
