Makes me sick dude. Can you imagine if they win the sb after being lucky to get in and that bs lucky win last night?!?!

Mark my words. They will be in the Super Bowl. I've seen the end of this story before

Bias? How about they're just bad? Maybe the rulebook has gotten too complicated? Ask Lions fans how biased the refs were last year in the playoffs. Bad calls/officiating has been around forever, just not scrutinized replay after slo-mo replay. Silliness.

Also, it's the Steelers. Very few people here would say "good win Steelers, congrats", no matter how good or clean of a win it is. The Steelers hate is obvious in Cowboys country, as it should be.

It was entirely about where. Burfict was low and looking at Brown, not the ball. He can't pull up and miss him at full speed. And what if Brown had caught it? The same hit still occurs and the penalty is still called. It's a flaw with the rule that the offensive player has power to dictate. Similar to how in basketball if the defender jumps straight up and then the guy with the ball purposefully jumps into him to take a shot. The defender gets the foul (which is stupid IMO).

He didn't catch it. What if doesn't matter. Burfict had time to pull up. He didn't pull up, he took a cheap shot and got flagged end of story. Yes the rules are ambiguous, but this was clear. I didn't care for the outcome but that doesn't change the fact that the right call was made.

Rule 13.1.2 Porter seems to be in violation.

Yeah I was wondering why he was on the field and if that should have been called also. I would think the second penalty should have been offset by that. But yeah that's the Steelers for you.

Peter King makes a good point. The NFL is supposed to be cutting down on offsetting penalties and there were four officials right there to get Porter off the field or throw the flag on him. If they do their job, Pacman never gets the penalty and it negates Bufict's 15 yarder and the Steelers are still a couple plays away with 18 seconds left in the game.

None of that matters as that had nothing to do with the call. What if's don't matter with determining if it was a penalty by rule, but it does matter when talking about the merit of the rule and what happened.

He did pull up a little at the last second (keeping his elbow in), he went low as well. It is unreasonable to expect a player going at full speed to completely stop/miss a player they are zoned in on. Especially when more than likely they have no idea if they caught the ball until it is way too late.

I think I saw it different than some of you. I don't have dvr and certainly don't care enough about the bungles to rewind it anyways. What I recall though was Brown clearly not catching the ball and Burfict taking 2 to 3 additional steps before hitting him. From what I saw he didn't have to hit him. Again though some of you guys may have gotten a better look. I'm too indifferent to argue it anyways lol.

Also with the BS coach on the field and no penalty.... they sure get away with some things that other teams are immediately fined/penalized for.
