Save Us TNA

Money talks, Jericho would listen. TNA has more money behind it than WWE, and could easily say "You'll work 1 ppv and month, and tape 3 tvs in a row. No live events", Jericho would jump on that.

an honest question:

when you look into a mirror are you able to keep a straight face or do you bust out into intense laughter, ridiculing the person staring back at you?

Jericho does more interviews than most wrestlers...he probably isn't done wrestling. Some message board probably picked up something he said & that has grown into this "he may go to TNA" talk. That stuff goes board to board...they all copy each other. Truth is he's not old enough for TNA. They seem quite happy with their core group of very seasoned vets. And remember Jeff is back after his umpteenth brush with substance abuse.

Implying that almost everyone in TNA is over 50. Funny.

:laugh2:

Prediction...Jericho will return to WWE at some point. He will likely be part of WM 28 which is going to be a big show with Rock vs. Cena. I have heard that CM Punk may be facing Stone Cold at that event as well.

Wouldn't be suprised. As much as the bs gets spewed about how TNA features a "bunch of old guys" the WWE always resorts to their old superstars when they want big draws. I can def see Jericho back at WM.

Don't see what's so funny about what drew Angle, Hardy, Sting etc; to the company potentially drawing another 40 year old to the company.

Where did they draw him from, rehab? no one has burned more bridges then him TNA is literally his last chance and he's well on his way to blowing that as well

Angle and Hardy work for TNA because they cannot clear WWE drug policy.

Sting works for TNA because he did not want to start at the bottom and job for WWE guys when WCW went under.

The young guys that work for TNA are hoping it will be a stepping stone to WWE .........Its really that simple.

This is...so unbelievably true.

Believe me, I went to ECW Arena shows starting back in 1995. I knew, on a personal level, many wrestlers. Hell, I was at some of their cookouts and a few I consider friends to this day.

9 out of 10 wanted to get to the WWE (back then, the WWF). The only real appeal that WCW had back then was they offered more money, paid for travel, and then started giving away guaranteed money.

But...just about all of them wanted to go to the WWF. The very few who didn't, were guys who had no aspirations of traveling on the road or in the case of some...had worked for the WWF before and knew that they couldn't get above mid-card status (combined with paying for traveling expenses, they could actually make more money at ECW and work less).

I don't pay 1/100th as much attention to the industry like I used to, but I highly doubt this attitude has changed. In fact, I think it's even stronger now.

Folks like R2A and their permeation of the fanbase is a big reason why I stopped following pro wrestling.

Well that, and the lack of star power.

I might watch that, just for The Rock. I was watching him way back in the day when he was Rocky Maivia.

Fandom was passed down to me from my dad, who was a fan of High Chief Maivia and Rocky Johnson growing up.

My dad also grew up playing football against Ron Simmons (Farooq) and baseball against Frank Thomas, who went to a rival high school in Columbus, GA. Most of my dad's memories of Frank Thomas were little league, though. Leagues were segregated in Georgia back then.

Implying that everyone in TNA doesn't want to work there and are just there because they have to be is silly at best.. its really that simple.

Its like the minors in Baseball.

They are happy to be there but they dream of being in the majors.

And the old vets are happy to be there because they cannot make it at the majors anymore.

Its really that simple .

Well I suppose in Baseball the minor's make as much if not more money, work less dates and have better interaction with their fanbases.

Well the only thing that is true in that statement is work less dates.

But keep up the bull hockey ......

Not entirely. A majority of contracted TNA workers is base pay, a majority of WWE employees is from bonus's working dates and PPV's.

And your saying TNA does not have better interactions with their fanbase? Get real, go to a WWE show and the performers don't care if your there or not, at TNA there is hour long autograph sessions after every house show, you can ask the wrestlers anything you'd like.

I'll take that challenge. I've been to quite a few events over the years (including Monday night 1 week ago) and I've never experienced this BS you just spewed about how they don't care if you're there.

If you're there early enough prior to the show you can meet them walking through the building, they'll just randomly walk into the hallways where people are already at and sign some stuff and take pictures and just chat. It's been that way at every single live WWE event I've been to in my life time. Be it RAW, Smackdown, or PPVs.

So basically I'll call you out on that complete BS.

Newsflash...I've never had any problem getting an autograph or picture from a WWE wrestler. One of the nicer guys to fans is ADR...your favorite.
