But if he invested 10 MM of that 14MM and is getting any decent return, he is getting a least a half million a year from his investments. Even living it up (and I'm sure he is) he probably isn't spending the return on his investment portfolio.
And that's the good - and sad - part about the life of a high-price athlete. You just invest that - in Oscan's case - $10 million even conservatively, and you're making six figures - more than enough to cover taxes, utility bills, etc.
The fact that so many athletes waste so much money is scandalous and an indictment against them having even the basic minimum of business intelligence.
