Actually this makes more sense than some of you guys believe it does. It all comes down to money. If Peterson comes in on a bargain deal, then sign him up. A backfield of Zeke, Peterson and a rookie/McFadden gives you a warm fuzzy feeling and the production doesn't drop off the face of the earth when Zeke gets a breather. It really all comes down to money. This is the type of deal that the Patriots always seem to have fall in their lap (Randy Moss).

If Peterson is running behind this line I think we will see the Peterson of old. Running behind the Giants' line, not so much.
2m and I'm in...they save that much by cutting AMorris almost

So far thats Myles Garrett, D Watson, AD that want in....... I guess dem boyz are back

I don't think he's getting bad information. Schefter is usually more right than he is wrong. I think this is Peterson's agent or Peterson himself trying to get himself out of Minnesota.

I think there are $18 million reasons why that's going to happen, no matter who wants what.

I think it makes perfect sense, if he takes a really cheap deal.

AD wants to win, i'm sure. Bring him to Dallas and let him and Zeke run over the league.

Wouldn't it make sense to take the ball out of your best players hands 100 more times next year than you did this year?

I can't stand Schefter.

That's OK, even if we sign AP Dunbar would get all his carries.

Funny how people say that Dak and Romo can't be on the same team. but it makes sense to have Elliottt and AD.

He may be best used as a backup behind our oline more than starting for any other team. It all depends if he wants to win or get paid

Schefter pimping for Peterson and his agent, it's as clear as day.

This is coming from a guy who campaigned as loudly and as proudly as I could for Peterson two years ago.

Peterson is shot. I hope he does end up with the Giants. Their offensive line sucks. They can't run the ball. And Peterson is a shell of his former self. As a Cowboys fan, I'd love it if the two sides teamed up. I hope they sign him and pay him a boatload of money to do it.

It only makes things better for the Cowboys.
also his minimum veteran pay would be high ??

We do not need Peterson, sign McFadden as Zeke's backup, let's go about and fix the defence. Let the Giants or whoever deal with a 30+ running back...

We were both on that wagon, and hard. However I absolutely DO NOT want to face Peterson twice a year by any means. He seems to destroy us no matter who is lining up in front of him blocking when he plays us. That scares me. The Giants OL also started gelling at the end of the year, and Jennings is horrible. Perkins looked decent at times, so who knows. One thing for sure, i dont want to face AD twice a year.
Last three games, 1.95 yards a carry and 1 fumble. I pray NY signs him.

On a horrible team with Sam Bradford as the QB and the entire OL on IR. LOL. Yeah lets put him on a team with Shepard Eli and OBJ. That wont help him at all.

Take a look at what the other running backs, McKinnon and Asiata did under those same circumstances. Both guys - neither of whom is special, clearly outperformed Peterson. That's not saying the offense was good, it wasn't, but it shows how bad Peterson truly was too.
