Yep, another delusional prediction.

Run Zeke's *** like we did with Emmitt. No more damn excuses!
If the playoffs are any indication, this coaching staff doesnt have the cough cough to do that. Resting the guy for 2 weeks and only using him 21 times and taking him out on key third downs still boggles my mind. Dunbar is just NOT GOOD. Id rather have Zeke and AP so the coaching staff has no choice but to run at times. It actually ties their hands. Which is good when they get pass happy.

We were both on that wagon, and hard. However I absolutely DO NOT want to face Peterson twice a year by any means. He seems to destroy us no matter who is lining up in front of him blocking when he plays us. That scares me. The Giants OL also started gelling at the end of the year, and Jennings is horrible. Perkins looked decent at times, so who knows. One thing for sure, i dont want to face AD twice a year.

I'm not scared. I'd prefer them spend money on a guy who looks all done, behind a line that can't run block.

I would first prefer Dallas run Zeke, but if they insist on keeping his touches in check I'd want another talented back in here and not some cast of practice squaders. Takes too much out of the offense to drop off in talent like that. One reason I like AD as an option is it'll get Zeke in on more 3rd downs since Peterson doesn't do that much.

At this point though, I'd prefer a young stud like Mixon that can do it all.

Dallas has ZERO interest in AP...once again all players available to sign or trade, the media lumps Dallas in with them......almost as dumb when two years ago people thought the Vikings were going to trade him....

Wouldn't it make sense to take the ball out of your best players hands 100 more times next year than you did this year?

I can't stand Schefter.

This was the unfortunate side story in drafting a running back high. They get hurt. They wear down. You have to baby them. Unless of course you know at their age 21 season they have Emmitt Smith's durability.

We were comfortable running Murray into the ground because he only cost us a 3rd, wasn't expensive from a cap hit and because we didn't invest the 4th overall pick into him we felt no worry in letting him go.

Enjoy years of babying our 4th overall pick guys.....

Just trying to get some ratings during the offseason.

Dallas doesn't want Peterson, and I seriously doubt Peterson wants to be a backup to Zeke in Dallas.

No news here.

I find it hard to believe AP is content to slide into a back up roll despite his age.

Schefter has to be getting bad information. There are many many reasons why Peterson to Dallas makes zero sense.

I don't think he's getting bad information. Schefter is usually more right than he is wrong. I think this is Peterson's agent or Peterson himself trying to get himself out of Minnesota.

I think it is bad information if he attachs "Dallas" to it. We already know Peterson wants out but also the Vikings are ready to move on as well. This is a sparring and the old agent tactic of using Dallas as a boost are just old anymore.

Actually this makes more sense than some of you guys believe it does. It all comes down to money. If Peterson comes in on a bargain deal, then sign him up. A backfield of Zeke, Peterson and a rookie/McFadden gives you a warm fuzzy feeling and the production doesn't drop off the face of the earth when Zeke gets a breather. It really all comes down to money. This is the type of deal that the Patriots always seem to have fall in their lap (Randy Moss).

If Peterson is running behind this line I think we will see the Peterson of old. Running behind the Giants' line, not so much.
