Unfortunately that window may be closing. He may have a year or two left. From here on out your going to need a defense to win.
With the exception of the Washington game. We can "play" with teams with this defense, but beating them is a different story.

Criticism for too much running which resulted in FG, when a TD might have clinched it. But imagine the howling if an INT had been thrown.

Up 35-7 its because the Bears are just "giving up." But when the Bears close the gap its because Dallas players have no heart.

Who believed that this defense was anything other than patchwork after a horrendous year last year? Shame on you. But the defense gets criticized mightily for being who they are - in spite of the fact that this years team (Offense by running clock, defense with the late pick) DID stop the bleeding (CHI) that last year's team could not (GBay & Detroit).

there are a handful of LOUD fans who only see the negative and whine about it. they can't enjoy the positives for whatever reason haunts them but have to get their shots in on the team. part of that is frustration to be sure. oh we crash. oh we always crash. why do we even bother playing, we're gonna lose...those people I eventually just tune out because they offer nothing but everything I try to avoid when watching the cowboys.

I can see when we suck. I can see when room is having a bad day. but I don't come in here and wave it around in everyones face esp if we managed to win anyway. some people are more hellbent on being right about everything that normal conversation is just impossible and attempts to do so should be avoided.

The point is, Super Bowl caliber teams put teams away. You try this crap with Philly, Patriots, then your *** gets sent home talking things like, who are we going to draft. Super Bowl teams are mean spirited teams who spits on graves.

If we are up 28 in the 4th I am all for trying "this crap."

Yeah. I saw it somewhere on here that maybe the D thought the Bears were going to give up when down as far as they were. That should have been dispelled when Chicago caught Dallas flatfooted a couple of times, most noticably when they got off a play with one second left in the third quarter. Our D seriously thought they would just let it go into the fourth quarter. That shoulda told the defense something.

I wasn't surprised about the defense. Never expected anything else than what they are. An under average defense. In no way close to a championship defense.

Sure, if Dallas's offense can put up 30 or so points a game and limit the field time the defense is out there, they can win.

But..

Hell. nevermind.. At least they won. I'll take it.
