For what it's worth, I had PF about 4 years ago. After 2-3 months of eliminating strenuous activity, I have never had an issue. I don't play football anymore, but I hike a lot, work out, and play basketball. It hasn't been an issue for me at all. Hopefully that's the case as well for him.

Remember why they passed on a gaurd and drafted Schoon.
Please tell me the last time the Cowboys spent a high pick on a "guard" that wasn't actually a tackle in college. Cowboys don't tend to draft guards. They draft Centers and Tackles. The short-arm tackles become guards in the NFL.

Zack Martin, Ron Leary, and La-el Collins were all tackles in College. So was Connor Williams. Larry Allen and Nate Newton both played Tackle in college. The Cowboys have spent 3 late round picks on Tackles in the last 3 drafts: Josh Ball, Matt Waletzko, and Asim Richards. Two of them will be working at Guard in training camp this year.

The Cowboys drafted Connor McGovern because he played both Center and Guard in college. Same with Matt Farniok.

I had it around '97 or '98. Increasing my running mileage too quickly during training caused it. My condtion lasted around six months or so because I refused to stop running. I went to a foot specialist. In addition to advising me to stop strenuous fitness activties, he gave me some heel inserts to wear, and a few exercises to get well (one was taking a can of food and rolling my feet over it for several minutes each day). PF disappeared - and never came back.

Dallas was never taking a TE in round 1.

Notice the way the second round unfolded. 3 of the first 11 picks in the second round were TE's. That was the run on TE's. After that, it took 16 more picks before the next one was taken. That tells you what you need to know. NO WAY Dallas enters the second round hoping that Schoonmaker would still be there.
You're making no sense. You said they needed a tight end and they wanted one bit they didn't take one in the 1st and took the one they wanted in the 2nd but you're convinced they didn't want that one even though there were good tight ends available? At the end of the day the Cowboys had La Portra as their best tight end. The fact they reached for Schoonmaker shows they got their guy I don't know why that's tough for people to cope with.

"Cowboys CB Jourdan Lewis (foot) will begin camp on Physically Unable to Perform list. "

I think Gehlken may have incomplete information. I think this is about Lewis's Onlyfans page
Are you serious? If so, that was dumb.

Why risk round 2 ? Curious . Jerry has a knack for Medicals . I would want healthy day 1 participants, the NFL with FA player movement is yr to yr .
If Schoonmaker can’t play this season, it’s going to hurt his development. He’s going to get further behind the two young TEs we have. He could end up being one of those players that’s always hurt.

Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft will be at practice tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. with bells on.

How much you wanna bet that BOTH have better numbers than Schoonmaker this season?

Funny that I was told the Cowboys are so much better at drafting than the Packers.

Teams that feature multiple TEs generally have poor offenses because it means they can't develop a vertical passing game, so good luck with that.

Schoon was poor value at #58 regardless of his health.

The only reason he went there was that it's a poor draft in general, so you just draft guys who you think can make the roster. He doesn't have any upside that doesn't exist in 20-something other TEs around the league.

Still hate this pick.

Obviously, he gets time to prove himself. But a 25 yr old vaunted for his experience in a pro system needs to step right in. That was his biggest plus.

Not like Jerry didn’t have 2 young TE’s already on the roster . I couldn’t figure pick out on draft day , not with holes to fill elsewhere .

Is this where I'm supposed to throw an e-fit and rue about not trading up for Kincaid?
