It's not the cleats. Stop drafting players with flat feet. It's the leading cause of Plantar Fasciitis. It seems this is starting to be a common issue. Maybe they need to change the cleats
It was tongue in cheek - more on the injury than the player - tho would have preferred a O-lineman instead.Based on???
Schoon has been a Cowboy all of 3 months.
Cincy has 4 OL's on their roster drafted in the first 3 rounds. They haven’t even tried to though lol.
If that high. And I don't call that solid. Not saying he was great. But the year he was supposed to be the guy he tore his ACL week one. Every other year he was buried behind guys like Witten or just couldn’t stay healthy.
Like James Hanna, not world changing but a good depth player.
I feel like the 70-80 catches in 5 years is where Schoonmaker will be at … 15-20 catches a season.
Yup.Cowboys front office unconcerned about Schoonmaker injury as they have 2 exact replicas on the roster.
Its the time frame that is most concerning.
I don't believe they would be this patient if it wasn't a legit concern, they wanted to fast track him.
To be fair, they likely felt taking Schoonmaker in the 2nd round was worth the risk...whether he plays this season or next year. Schoonmaker's talents are very high for a TE. Plus, the Cowboys could afford to gamble with Ferguson, Hendershot and McKeon already on the team.
Remember why they passed on a gaurd and drafted Schoon.
Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft will be at practice tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. with bells on.
How much you wanna bet that BOTH have better numbers than Schoonmaker this season?
Funny that I was told the Cowboys are so much better at drafting than the Packers.

Does anybody know if the Joneses knew this Schoonmaker had this injury when they drafted him?The same thought process that went into the Kelvin Joseph selection also led to selecting Schoonmaker. They had to have a TE with that pick just like they had to have a CB.
horrible pickSmells like skunk.
If they didn't, then they are even bigger idiots than I thought.Does anybody know if the Joneses knew this Schoonmaker had this injury when they drafted him?
Michigan runs a pro system?a 25 yr old vaunted for his experience in a pro system needs to step right in.
Oh ok. The Cowboys clearly disagree with you though. It was tongue in cheek - more on the injury than the player - tho would have preferred a O-lineman instead.
Huh??? Schoon walks in the best blocker of the bunch. Probably be a better receiver at some point this season.Cowboys front office unconcerned about Schoonmaker injury as they have 2 exact replicas on the roster.
And yet they use a 2nd round pick to get this guy.If they didn't, then they are even bigger idiots than I thought.
Here's from the scouting report, predraft: "He gets banged up and could have limited availability in the pros."
They knew. It was well documented.Does anybody know if the Joneses knew this Schoonmaker had this injury when they drafted him?
What's sad is they could have gotten a guard. They knew. It was well documented.

TCU doesn't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Michigan runs a pro system?
