Schoonmaker to come off NFI list Monday

An injury isn't what I consider a knock as far as not starting off well. Not starting well was kelvin Joseph being a healthy scrub as a rookie in camp.

After the reaction from taking schoon in the 2nd promise the PR department will only have fantastic things to say about his work in camp. I wont trust anything until I see him lineup against another team.

I think that’s the big issue here though.

When you draft a 2nd rounder, you’re expecting this guy to eventually be a starter and a cornerstone of your team (Diggs).

We tend to draft guys early to be just the depth and backup guys and don’t have that potential to become elite.

I’m not saying he doesn’t become good (comparable numbers and age to Kittle) or becomes elite (Kittle now). It is just surrounding this kid we expect him to be just Ok and that’s it. We aren’t expecting him to turn out great.

No because he it was a dumb bad pick by jerry and co. hes not better than ferguson and ferguson is 4 months younger than him lol. They are the same guy at least if they took washington his upside is crazy high I could buy in. We took a guy in the 2nd round who is who he is.

Ferguson wishes he had Schoonmaker's speed. They aren't even close athletically.

It was a stupid pick because they picked a guy in the second that most had as 3rd rounder at best and passed on a G that slipped to the second that many mocks had in the 1st. albeit late first. And one with injury concerns to boot. This is gonna go down as another failed second round project . The war room must have a book in it that has standard SOP in it that say do a bonehead pick in the second.

Now I will gladly look you up and eat crow if i am wrong because if Im wrong thats good for the team. Watch the line crumble bout week 7

yup. Folks can disagree on the pick itself based on pre draft Information , but wether or not the man can play is anyone’s guess at this point
