We needed a receiving threat at TE not a worse older version of ferguson. Darnell Washington was the right pick. His upside and athleticism is tremendous

If Washington was the right pick. Why did 2 more tight ends go ahead of him after Schoonmaker? Every team in the league passed on Washington.

This is absolutely good news though. A lot of people said he wouldn’t take part in any camp. Now instead of saying they were wrong and he got back quick… it is just more negativity.

He's moving around pretty good on those 2 bad knees. Considering we drafted a guy with 1 leg in the 2nd round now we are worried about medical. They can use whatever excuse jerry likes his TE's to look a certain way.

Im not sure if that was McCarthys number 1 goal or not I dont remember seeing that.If it was then he needs his head examined. we could have done nothing and we could equal Shultz production from last year. Fergy and hendershot were fine as recivers. The edge that apparently Schoon has was blocking.

the number 1 concern that MCarthy should have had on offense going into the draft should have been RB and OL. TE was and is not a concern but hey I hope the guy excels thats good for the cowboys. Hes a good blocker maybe he can play on the line when we start to have issues

Schoon is Ferg's equal in recieving.

Washington was blacklisted on many teams including the Cowboys. It doesn't matter who looks better now. You don't draft guys for how they look less than 4 months after the draft.

Actually I hate Michigan. That was the goal it was said many times - we have to improve the blocking. Think Prescott and running game.
