I bet we don't hear anything about Joseph's notebook. I would guess that he doesn't know where it is.

I was blown away, what can I say
You don't seem to make sense...

Let's start over
I'll try to do it right this time around
Can we make this something good...

You're a lot nicer than I am. Lol Some psychologists say that people who like to correct others were probably picked on as a kid or got picked last in recess games like dodgeball. I have two friends in the real world who do that, and they are terrible at sports. They can play a mean guitar but can't throw a football even if their life depended on it.
I find this comment offensive. Mainly because I can't play the guitar.

Small school guy didn't know what he was doing last season. He is diligent in his study. That bodes well.

He looked like he got an extra helping of the offseason peanut butter. He is built like Cooks in the lower body.

If he has talent he is doing a good job of maximizing it.
Jerry Rice was a small school guy.

Cowboys OC Brian Schottenheimer while talking about WR Jalen Tolbert: “Ask him to see his notebook one day. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. How he has prepared his mind, for a young player, you’re talking about a second-year player, I was blown away. I told him that you need to save that and I’m gonna use that in front of the offense. It’s dynamic. I’m talking highlights and the penmanship is amazing. He’s been through every install. And that’s what this game requires. It’s not just talent. He’s figuring it out, but he’s also working his a** off.”

Lets hope it shows in the field this year, he needs to step up and fill the WR4 which would be an insurance position.

I've seen this thing before where they are way way over enthused about one player in camp. Then the season starts and nothing burger happens.
Most camp news is worthless, "best shape of his life" kind of stuff that doesn't translate into actual performance. But one thing you can often glean is whether somebody's putting in the work. If he wasn't putting in the work last year and this year he is, that's meaningful news to me. He may still not be good enough, but if the player's doing everything he can, you can' blame him for it.

It's the mental part that he lacks.

Physical part all there.
Maybe that mental part comes this season. Looks like he is starting to get it. WR for many takes a good 3 years to really get it, or used to.
Now players from top big schools are more prepared to be successful right away, or in a year. But from smaller schools where the coaching may not be as good can hold a WR back.

Even Jerry Rice had a mediocre season as a rookie.
