that’s nice.
Won't do any good, Dak will overthrow him anyway. I'm reading your mind!!good job young fellow
The off season story about Tolbert started many months ago. This isn't anything new from this week.I've seen this thing before where they are way way over enthused about one player in camp.
Love all the hype, but I need to see it on the field.I've been tell you guys that wrote him off it was far too soon.
There was a reason last year went sideways and that was corrected.
I'm not saying he is going to be the next Playmaker but he will be someone the Cowboys can count on to make plays.
Well, even if he's good, it isn't likely he gets a lot of playing time ahead of Lamb, Cooks and Gallup. Last year, playing time was there for the taking, but he wasn't ready to take it.I've seen this thing before where they are way way over enthused about one player in camp. Then the season starts and nothing burger happens.
Cowboys OC Brian Schottenheimer while talking about WR Jalen Tolbert: “Ask him to see his notebook one day. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. How he has prepared his mind, for a young player, you’re talking about a second-year player, I was blown away. I told him that you need to save that and I’m gonna use that in front of the offense. It’s dynamic. I’m talking highlights and the penmanship is amazing. He’s been through every install. And that’s what this game requires. It’s not just talent. He’s figuring it out, but he’s also working his a** off.”
1000%.......same here. Some posters were already calling him a bust before the draft.I've been tell you guys that wrote him off it was far too soon.
This may be true but it's way too early to write him as some pre-draft posters had done.He hasn't done anything besides being the subject of offseason fluff to prove you right
He is doing everything in his power to get better, that's all a team can ask. The mental side will not beat him again, now it's up to him to succeed on the football field.at least Tolbert is trying to apply himself work ethic wise and mentally, he's trying to put in the work .
We'll really see what occurs once the pads come on next week and the camp grind creeps up.
This is where the talent comes in. You cannot polish a turd, but talent shines.I've seen this thing before where they are way way over enthused about one player in camp. Then the season starts and nothing burger happens.
But if it comes with a slice of "in the best shape of his life," even better!Love all the hype, but I need to see it on the field.
That was creepy. If he has good penmanship, he must have good hands...
Lol, they aren't cutting him. He is looking good in practice.I’m wondering if this is one of those comments publicly that happens right before they end up cutting him…or if it’s legit. I hope the latter.
Watch some video.Love all the hype, but I need to see it on the field.
Put the mirror down, mate. LolThat was creepy.
You know it boss!!!But if it comes with a slice of "in the best shape of his life," even better!
