I was blown away, what can I say
You don't seem to make sense...

Let's start over
I'll try to do it right this time around
Can we make this something good...

I've seen this thing before where they are way way over enthused about one player in camp. Then the season starts and nothing burger happens.
Well, even if he's good, it isn't likely he gets a lot of playing time ahead of Lamb, Cooks and Gallup. Last year, playing time was there for the taking, but he wasn't ready to take it.

Would be really nice for him to flash. As much as the top 3 have potential, Cooks and Gallup have some questions and injuries can always occur. Would be a great insurance policy to have a prototype size guy pan out at the number 4 spot

Cowboys OC Brian Schottenheimer while talking about WR Jalen Tolbert: “Ask him to see his notebook one day. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. How he has prepared his mind, for a young player, you’re talking about a second-year player, I was blown away. I told him that you need to save that and I’m gonna use that in front of the offense. It’s dynamic. I’m talking highlights and the penmanship is amazing. He’s been through every install. And that’s what this game requires. It’s not just talent. He’s figuring it out, but he’s also working his a** off.”

:D this kid is starting 2 win me over. He gets it. Now if he can do it on the field. WE struck lightning in a bottle.

at least Tolbert is trying to apply himself work ethic wise and mentally, he's trying to put in the work .

We'll really see what occurs once the pads come on next week and the camp grind creeps up.
He is doing everything in his power to get better, that's all a team can ask. The mental side will not beat him again, now it's up to him to succeed on the football field.

If all this is true, can anyone think about a bigger 180 degree turnaround in Yr 2 in Cowboys history? I mean last year Tolbert was absolute lost.
