ExactlyWonder what Blue did to piss off Jerry?

Henry got $11 million last year and now is on a 2 year $30 million deal. And to think we could have picked up Henry a while back for a few million a year. Wouldn’t be worried about any of this. And I hope Blue is not having fumbling problems. The fumble in the red zone cost us big time. And the hit did not look that bad. He don’t drop the ball then and who knows what would have happened..
Fumbles are a dynamic situation.Whats Sanders excuse then
Another translation:Translate.......stop relying on your speed and athleticism. Work hard, know your plays and assignments when called. This is stopping just short of calling out Blue's character and work ethic.
It might also explain how/why all that speed couldn't earn more than a handful of carries over 2/3 years in college.
And don't think for a second this is Blue's first time hearing this......my guess is his position coach shared their concerns with him.
This is why they should have made Blue a priority during training camp and preseason, instead of the old veterans. Should have had Blue ready by now.Fumbles are a dynamic situation.
What Blue is probably concerning for coaches is he may be missing assignments.
Assignments on alignment. Assignments on protection. Assignments on route discipline. Who knows, but it is just enough that the RB coach and HC made the decision to start Sanders.
I would love to see the young guy out there, but if the price to pay for his talent on gameday is a missed block then I'm not sure I am prepared to give him the responsibility early in the season to protect Dak's backside.
One bad hit on our starting QB and you can say goodbye to the year.
Whats Sanders excuse then

I agree. Rooks need to take Sanders spot not have it given to them.I wasn't a fan of the Sanders signing. However, I find it funny that posters are piling on Shotty in him calling out Blue for not being consistent enough to play. Yes, the fumble sucked, but it's a **** happens play. Not like he was showboating or truly being stupid with the ball.
Basically wanting Blue to play cause he's faster and a recent draft pick. Are you the same bashing Jerry for keeping Mazi on the roster, since he's a former 1st round pick?
Sanders is past his prime, and should be riding the bench by end of the year. But it's up to the rooks to prove they deserve playing time. Not given to them cause they are a recent draft pick or can run fast. If a coach is calling this out publicly, it's a sign that the player really needs to improve.
If he's lacking in his responsibilities, or trying to "fit a square in a round hole" when running the ball, what good will it do giving him snaps? Do you want him to misread the pass blocking callout? Do you want him to get playing time if he's being boneheaded like Randle?
Have it checked out now. Early detection is key.Schottenheimer is growing on me.
This is a family forum.Schottenheimer is growing on me.

I was hoping Sanders was cut as well. I guess they rather have a vet player to help protect Dak in pass situations. Blue must be making a good amount of mistakes and they can't trust him.I really wish they would move on from Sanders just as I said before the season started.
This^^^. If you wonder why coaches are conservative and open up the season with vets they can rely on it's because if a serious mistake is made early on in the season, then everything you have worked and invested in the offseason, the draft, mini and training camps may be washed down the drain.Just want to remind everyone the 2015 season was ruined when a rookie RB missed a blitzing LB on a pass play and got Romo killed Romo's clavicle was broken on that play I believe It was against the Eagirls
My guess is Blue doesn't know the play book and his blocking assignments on pass plays. Most likely he is messing up during practice that's making the coaches little reluctant.
His blocking is not that bad.The situations you’re mentioning are different than this one.
Blue is a guy who had 214 attempts in college, issues picking up blitzers, and was a fumbling machine.
Are you that confident he would immediately improve the team as a rookie despite his potential for mistakes?
Although I’d still rather have him on the roster over Sanders.
I don't think that is what anyone wants. It's just that the coaches fear the possible alternative. So you’d rather have a back with zero juice? A guy who gets caught from behind by a LB? And oh yeah the same who fumbled and might have cost us the game? By all means let’s keep rolling with that guy.
Well being bad consistently is still being consistent...Whats Sanders excuse then
