You said, "Prescott IS a top NFL quarterback." You did not say, "Prescott WAS a top NFL quarterback."I’m not talking now, you’re putting him down for the past

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/schottenheimer-press-conference-chatter.532327/post-14042826I don't know how successful Shott will be, but his introduction as HC went pretty well.
He displayed some sense of authority and didn't seem a Deer in the Headlights person who knew he wasn't up for the job.
He didn't seem to be wearing Rose colored glasses and just a puppet for Jerry who was more cheerleader than coach.
The players, at least the Offense, seem to support the hire displayed by their presence at the Press conference.
I'm more worried about the resources player wise available to him being his biggest hindrance than of his coaching ability.
No, Google said it and I’m not going to explain it, I’m annoyed. Lol.You said, "Prescott IS a top NFL quarterback." You did not say, "Prescott WAS a top NFL quarterback."

And this is a big deal, how?His father was the emotional type like Dick Vermeil. They’re criers. That’s what he meant.
Schotty tried to say the right things but, at the end of the day he cried at his presser , which is nice and a human emotion is understandable. but not in football , and not at your introductio.I don't know how successful Shott will be, but his introduction as HC went pretty well.

It even fit properly, not 3 sizes too small and made out of circus tent material like the last HC introducedHe was in a suit, what do u want?!
Just stop. There is a reason why he bounced around and never got a shot.I don't know how successful Shott will be, but his introduction as HC went pretty well.

A guy with words was at a loss for words. But when he talked about football he lit up talking about the offenseI don't think he came off very well. He was much better and more confident in his weekly coordinator PCs. Frankly, he seemed kind of weak today.
Hopefully it was just first-day nerves. I just hope this stage isn't too big for him.
