So basically the Cowboys are going to run the same offense with an immobile, 31 year-old QB, with whom they are tied at the hip for four more years?

I’m hoping this is just media chatter…the fact that it makes no sense means there is a probability of it coming to fruition…this is JJ and the dysfunctional Cowboys we’re talking about.

I ask anyone ...was ANYONE on this board screaming, "Hire Schottenheimer..." until Jerry brought him up? I don't recall ONE post. That can't be said of Dan Quinn...plenty of posters ...including myself said he'd be better than MM as a coach. It was obvious from how the defensive players and even some of the offensive guys responded to him. To be clear, I didn't advocate for DQ as coach either, just that he was better than MM.

This is the laziest pick Jerry has had since Dave Campo. Watch him sell it with gusto as if it was his first choice. Gaslighting the naive and credelous seems to be acceptable these days...so...be ready to be humiliated by Eagles fans.

The lone consolation we all have: This might be Jerry's last time picking a coach...
